It had been a month of pure hell for Elladora.

She felt weak, disgusting and pitied.

She knew better than to believe it was her fault, because it wasn't her fault. The only ones to blame were Silvers and Avery - but placing the blame didn't get her any closure.

So, she had pressed charges for attempted sexual assault.

The case had been dealt with very quickly, but it also meant that the memory would have to be played to everyone in the court room, and Elladora was just happy that she wouldn't have to testify because her memory was sufficient enough.

Silvers had been sentenced to two years in Azkaban, while Avery had been let go - seeing as he didn't try to sexually assault her. But, he wasn't allowed back to school.

Elladora had spent the week being strong, trying to put it behind her - but she leant on Regulus, Evan, Lily and Remus a lot.

More so than Peter, James and Sirius.

Now, that wasn't anything personal, but more to do with the fact that Elladora had been friends with the others for longer and felt like less of a burden on them than on the others.

None of them pushed her for information, or to even talk about it - they didn't act like she was made of glass, since they all knew that she wouldn't like that.

One night, Elladora was sat on the window ledge watching the stars absentmindedly when Lily appeared opposite her.

"Hey Ellie." Lily said reassuringly.

Elladora smiled weakly at her, "Hey Lils."

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm alright." Elladora said sternly with a nod.

Lily smiled and nudged her foot with Elladora's.

The two girls spent hours talking. And, for the first time since the incident, Elladora felt at peace.

They had changed positions and they were sat shoulder to shoulder, legs over the ledge, dangling out into the night.

"Hey Lils." Elladora began.

"Yeah?"

"You know that I love you, right?"

Lily felt her heart thump so quickly as she nodded, "Of course I do. I love you too, Ellie."

Elladora nodded and before she could even think about the consequences, she kissed Lily, tenderly, softly.

Lily responded immediately.

It was a good kiss. An amazing kiss, in fact.

When they separated, Elladora just simply rested her head on Lily's shoulder and stared into the night once more.
