"What was that?" Lavender hissed.

Elladora ignored her mother and stood, "Excuse me for a moment."

And before anyone could stop her, or question her, she ran out of the house. She caught Regulus's attention and the boy smiled and hugged her.

"You really did it!" Elladora breathed in relief.

Regulus nodded and showed her his left forearm. "I ran away, El! I did it!" He said giddily.

Elladora hugged him even tighter, completely unaware of how all of her classmates had followed her out of the door to see what was happening, and listening to the conversation.

"They were torturing me, El. They've done it for a while, but I remembered that you told me that you believed that I could do it, that I could run away, so I did. They've disowned me too, Els. It's amazing. I'm free!" He said quickly with a laugh.

"I'm so proud of you, Reg." Elladora said quickly and kissed his cheek, seeing as they were the same height.

"I can't tell, Sirius though." Regulus said.

"Why?"

"Because he'll still hate me. Me running away doesn't change the fact that I'm a Slytherin and he's a Gryffindor." He said regretfully.

"I don't hate you!" Sirius suddenly yelled as he walked towards the pair.

Regulus's eyes went wide as he saw his brother. He was not expecting that.

"You see him too, right?" Regulus asked quietly to Elladora.

Elladora laughed and nodded, "Yes, dipshit."

Regulus rolled his eyes at Elladora and waited for Sirius to speak again.

"I don't hate you, Regulus." Sirius said once more.

"Right, and I'm not Elladora's favourite person ever." Regulus said sarcastically.

Sirius looked confused.

"He is." Elladora confirmed, making Regulus chuckle.

"Emerson, can I talk to Regulus please?" Sirius said.

Elladora pondered it, "Are you going to hex him?" He shook his head. "Are you going to hurt him in anyway?" He shook his head again. "Ok, that's good enough for me. See ya, Reg."

Elladora laughed to herself as she walked away from the now reunited brothers and towards where the crowd of Gryffindors were stood, staring at Elladora.

"What?" She asked as she stood in front of them.

"What is he doing here?" Mary asked politely.

Elladora smirked, "Isn't it obvious? He ran away from home. I'm literally one of his two friends - and Evan's is just like Regulus's just slightly less extreme."
