When the morning sun of January 17th 1979 rose, as did Lily Evans.

As a rule of tradition, Lily and Marlene weren't allowed to see each other on this day, seeing as it was their wedding day, so the ginger had wanted to get on with everything.

But Elladora wouldn't want to be rude and call Lily Evans a 'bridezilla'.

Actually, yes she would.

Elladora thought that the only way possible to describe Lily Evans was a 'bridezilla' seeing as she had the audacity to knock on Elladora's door at four am that morning.

"You get it." James muttered to Elladora.

"Fuck off, arsehole. You get it."

James snorted and slowly rolled out of bed to get the door, which was constantly getting knocked on every five seconds.

Elladora had fallen straight back asleep.

And she would have stayed that way if a very awake ginger witch hadn't thrown herself onto Elladora's sleeping form and kneed her in the stomach.

"Lily's here." James snorted as he climbed back into bed and saw Elladora staring up at the bride.

"I can see that, James."

"Ellie, we need to start getting things ready." Lily said quickly as Elladora began to close her eyes.

"What's the time, Lils?"

"Four." Lily said quietly.

"I thought we agreed that six was early enough?"

"Ellie, we need to get ready." Lily said again.

And Elladora understood. Lily was nervous and needed to put her mind to things to try and stop the nerves. Elladora put it down to nervous excitement.

"Alright, fine." Elladora said as she rolled out of bed and Lily got off of her. "But I'm not leaving James sleeping here like a baby."

Lily smirked and nodded before clasping her wand and whispering,

"Aguamenti"

And a giant jet of freezing cold water shot from her wand and at James's sleeping face.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU EVANS!"

Lily and Elladora were at the venue of the wedding, which was a charming old barn, and were making sure that everything was ready. They had been the ones the unlock it and begin setting up.

Elladora used her wand to make sure that the fairy lights were in perfect position on the old wooden beams, while Lily checked that the flowers were the right colour and put them in the right places. This area was for the reception afterwards.
