The year of 1979 had been eventual by the time April arrived.

January was Marlene and Lily's wedding, Elladora's pregnancy scare, Elladora and James's brief break.

February was Alice and Frank's wedding, Ophelia announcing her pregnancy.

March was Remus and Sirius's wedding, Remus and James both turned nineteen.

And April would mark the month that two more people lost their lives.

The 3rd April to be exact.

Everyone had been over at the Lupin-Black's when the news came.

An auror, Kingsley Shacklebolt, had knocked on the door with a hesitant expression when Sirius opened the door with a smile.

"Mr Lupin-Black, may I come in?"

Sirius frowned and invited him into the living room where everyone was sat.

"Hey, Kingsley." Elladora said with a smile, they had worked together on many cases.

"Unfortunately I come with some bad news this morning." Kingsley announced gravely.

Sirius frowned and nodded, "He's dead, isn't he?"

Kingsley nodded, "I'm truly sorry for you loss."

Sirius nodded and bit back the tears.

"Hang on, who's dead?" Marlene asked with a panic.

"Both of them?" Sirius confirmed, and Kingsley nodded once more.

"Evan and Regulus." Sirius said thickly.

Elladora felt sick.

She had paled dramatically, and she felt James grab onto her hand tightly as she trembled.

"Thank you for informing us, Kingsley." Marlene said as she guided him to the door.

After Kingsley had left, Sirius broke down.

"This is all your fault." Sirius growled in his tears, looking at Elladora.

Elladora sucked her tears up.

"How?" Elladora asked thickly, swallowing the lump in her throat.

"Sirius." James warned.

"Don't do this now." Lily said wisely.

"HE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU!" Sirius roared as he stood up, walking up to Elladora.

James tried to stop it, but Elladora had gently pushed him away.

"HOW? HOW IS HIS DEATH MY FAULT?"
