"Yes! The whole reason we came here!" I yelled while pointing to Forever 21. Calum groaned and walked after me into the store. I grinned as I started going through all the clothes. I was shopping with Calum, just so 'our relationship' was a bit believable. We haven't seen any paps yet, but Calum said they'll be here soon. After the shopping with Calum, Luke said he'd take me somewhere. And he won't tell me where. I just hope it'll be a good hiding place... "Do you think this one's okay?" I asked while holding up a leather skater skirt. Calum looked it over and shrugged. "Guess so." He mumbled and I smiled. I grabbed my size and searched further. "It won't be long, I swear. We'll eat something after this." I said. "You said that in the last store!" He said frustrated. "But Forever 21 is an exception." I said matter-of-factly. I saw from the corner of my eye a really cute jacket and walked to it. It was a jean jacket with a hood. Like a hoodie and a jacket combined. It was awesome. I quickly tried it on and Calum nodded. "I like that." He said. "Yea, me too." We walked towards the checkout until I saw a really cute beanie with small ears on them. I grabbed one and looked at the whole wall. They were full of accessories and they were all... I just wanted them all. But Calum was waiting and he's been shopping with me for the last 2 hours... So I quickly grabbed a packet of hair ties, a black bandana, and a pair of yellow smiley socks before walking to the checkout. "You wait here." I said to Calum. He sat down while I was waiting in line. I knew Luke gave him his credit card to pay for me, but I wouldn't let him. He already paid the Starbucks and the nail polish I bought. And this was way too much. I couldn't, and I wouldn't let him pay this. It was my turn and I laid the articles on the counter. "That'll be $68,40 please." The girl behind the counter said and I nodded. Before I could give the money to her someone handed her their credit card. I looked up and saw Calum smiling cheekily at me. "No, stop." I said to the girl and she looked between us confused. "Look, I can't let Lu- you pay for this. I know you want to, but I have money. And I can spend it. I know L- you want to spend money on me but I won't let you." I said and Calum thought for a moment. "I'll feel guilty the whole week if I let you pay." I said and he nodded slowly. "Okay then." He said. The girl gave him Luke's credit card back and I handed her the money. "Well, here you go. Have a nice day!" She said. I thanked her, grabbed the bag and walked out of the store. "Paps." Calum said quietly, just so I could hear. I nodded. "Should we act something?" I asked and I felt his hand slipping into mine. "Guess that's a yes." I said. "Just pretend we're talking about something fun or something." Calum said and I laughed out loud. My act has started. "You know, this makes me really uncomfortable." He said with a bright smile and I nodded. "Tell me about it. I feel bad." I said with a smile. "So... Burger King or Pizza Hut?" I asked and he looked around. "Whadoya think?" He asked and I grinned. "Pizza Hut it is." I dragged him while laughing towards Pizza Hut and we walked inside. We got a table at the back, so paps couldn't follow us. He immediately released my hand and I scrunched up my nose. "I hope Luke's okay with this." I said and stared at the table. "Well, this was the whole plan right? I'm sure he's okay." Calum said and I nodded.
After we shared a pizza we took the other pizza in a box with us. Calum was carrying the shopping bags, like the gentleman he is. "Whoop, Luke's here." He said while typing something on his phone. "Eh... Okay?" I said questionably. "Don't worry. It's a part of operation penguin masterplan." He said and I rolled my eyes. The thing Luke had planned for us was called operation Penguin masterplan. Typical. We passed a store with bags behind the glass and I stopped in my tracks. "I need a new bag!" I said enthusiastically. "Okay!" Calum said as enthusiastically, only to turn it into a deep sigh. "Wait here, this won't take long." I said. I quickly walked inside and looked at all the bags. They were... Okay. But behind the glass there was a black backpack with daisies on it. I know, flowers aren't really my thing, but this one was really cute. I searched through the store for the bag and after a while I found it. I grabbed one, quickly walked to the checkout, paid, and walked outside again. Calum was leaning against a wall, scrolling. Probably Twitter "LEGO!" I yelled into his ear and he jumped up, almost dropping his phone. "Geez Sky, never do that again." He said and I laughed. "Whatarya waiting for? Luke's waiting." I sung and walked away. He groaned, picked up the bags and walked after me to the parking lot of the shopping centre.
