The rest of the breakfast/lunch was spent talking about the Voice, about life on the road, and about the things the boys missed. "So... What are we going to do now?" Luke asked. We were still sitting in the restaurant, but we were done eating. "Um... I don't know. I don't really feel like doing anything. Just chilling." I said. "We could have a movie marathon at my place?" He asked. My face lit up. "Yes! Finally someone to watch movies with without talking through it all the time. Seriously. That's the worst thing that can happen during a movie. Anna saying what's going to happen and starting a whole new conversation. It's terrible." I said and Luke chuckled. "Movie Marathon it is then." He grabbed his wallet and I stopped him. "No, no. I'm gonna pay. I said while grabbing my own wallet. "I asked you to come to breakfast with me, so I'm paying." Luke said. "We'll split it in half, okay?" I said and he shook his head. "I'm paying." He said and I chuckled. "Don't worry, it's on the house." I heard Jake say. "Jake? No. Seriously. Don't do this to me. You know I can't accept that!" I said and he walked away, laughing evilly. I rolled my eyes and Luke chuckled. "Problem solved."

"Dudee, you have your own house here?" I asked and he nodded. "Jup. Bought it a couple months back." He said while we rode on the driveway in his black BMW A3. My favorite car, by the way. "You see those 3 other houses there?" He said while pointing to the right and I nodded. Those are the same houses, but in other colours. "The boys live there." I smiled. "That's so cool! For your information, I like this colour the most." I said. Luke's house was black and white, while the others were blue, light blue and grey. "Thank you, I painted it myself." He said. "Pfhsj, No you did not." I said. He wouldn't do that. "True. I hired a guy." He said and I chuckled. We walked inside and it was all very homey. Luke locked the door behind us and laid his shoes next to the door, so I did the same. "Okay! Tour through the house!" I yelled and he sighed jokingly. "Okay, let's start upstairs." He said and I followed him upstairs. It was weird that this was just like old times. Even though I didn't like him that much, while I actually really liked him and found out too late, it was like... We were friends again. "The attic is not very special, only some tour stuff there." He said. "Okay, here's a bathroom, a very small room I use as a closet, a guest room, and my bedroom." He said. I walked through his bedroom and smiled at all the souvenirs and photos hanging on the wall from touring. It wasn't a mess! Oh wow. I followed him downstairs and he quickly showed me the kitchen, living room and another bathroom. After that He went to a door that could be locked on the outside. "That's not creepy at all..." I said and he chuckled. He unlocked all the locks and opened the door. There were steps, going into the darkness. "I'm not going to risk my life and go down those stairs." I said seriously. He clicked on a lightswitch and the basement was now covered in light. "You first." I said. He shrugged and went past me, down the stairs. I followed him and was met by a long corridor. "What the hell is this? Some zombie apocalypse safe house?" I said. "That's actually a really good idea." He said and I chuckled. The walls of the corridor were painted red and there were black tiles on the ground, trying to make it less.... Creepy. Which didn't really help. Suddenly there was a door on our right. 'MICHAEL' was written on it. Wait a minute... "Wow, is this some thing like... You won't have to go outside to visit each other? Gosh, you guys are so lazy." I said and Luke shrugged. "More like, being hungry in the middle of the night and you realize you don't have food, so you can just walk into their house and get some food. It's also very practical for pranks. And all that stuff. "That's why your door was locked..." I said and chuckled. There was another door on our left. "Ta tadaam!" Luke said and unlocked the door. We walked into a room, which was more like... a studio. "Woah, this is awesome." I said while walking into the room. There was another door leading to the room with instruments and some other stuff. I looked at all the guitars laying there and almost moaned. "It's really cool, because we can play the loudest our speakers can, and you won't hear a thing upstairs." Luke said. "I'm so jealous." I said and he chuckled. "Is it okay if I invite the other boys over for the movie marathon? I mean, if you're okay with that..." He said and I thought for a moment. "You know, I think I already forgave you guys. I thought about it last night and it isn't really your fault." I said. "Really?" Luke asked and I nodded. "Well, I'd like a welcome-home hug then." He said and I shrugged. I walked to him and gave him a tight hug. He wrapped his arms around me and leaned his chin on my head. Gosh, he smells really good. After a couple of seconds I pulled back, but he still held my waist. He looked me in the eyes and I knew exactly what was happening. But wasn't this too early? He leaned in and rested his forehead against mine. No, I couldn't do this right now. I want to, but I just... This is too soon. I pulled away and stepped away from him. "Let's get the others?" I said, but it came out more like a question. Luke looked a bit hurt while he nodded. We walked out of the studio, to get the boys. He locked the door behind him and I walked to the left, to the last house. 'CALUM' was written on the door. I walked up the stairs and tried the door. It was unlocked. "I wanna scare them. Or casually walk in, or something like that." I grinned. Luke smiled and thought for a moment. "I'll just walk in, go to the kitchen, make some food for myself and go chilling at the couch." I said and Luke nodded. "Okay sh." I said and opened the basement door slowly. I heard the TV from the living room, but I had to go past the door to the living room, which was wide open, to the kitchen. I'll just go all ninja-mode. I quickly and silently walked past the living room door and walked into the kitchen. I opened a cupboard and found some poptarts. I took some and walked towards the living room, as silent as possible. Ashton was sitting in front of the TV, with his back to me, and Calum next to him. I casually walked inside and sat next to Calum on the couch. "Whazaap?" I asked and the looks on their faces were priceless. "Who the fu- Skyler?" Calum said and I bursted out laughing. It was so good to see them again, not just in the paper or on the internet... In real life. I felt 2 strong arms around me and after that 2 more. "We missed you so much! We're so sorry we didn't contact you and Anna, but our managem-" Ashton tried to explain but I cut him off. "I already know, Luke told me. I was kinda sort of really mad for two years, but I missed you guys too much to be mad now." I said. "Can't I have a hug?" Luke stood next to us, pouting to Calum and Ashton, who jumped up from the couch. They hugged him, all giggling. "Of course you can, Lukey-poo." I used Anna's drunk nickname. Luke glared at me and I chuckled, joining the grouphug. "Okay, now we're going to surprise Mikey." I said when we all pulled back. "Help me think of a good plan." The boys were all thinking. "He's probably gaming. So just scare him?" Calum said and I shrugged. We all walked back to the basement and went to Michael's house.
