Two years later

So... Here I am again. It's been a while ain't it? And now you want a recap of what happened these last two years? Well, quite a lot has happened. So grab your popcorn and sit back.

The first thing that changed was Matt going to Adelaide. Looking back, it wasn't that sad as I thought it was back then. Of course, we had a dramatic goodbye at the airport, before he went back to Adelaide. We talked to each other sometimes over Skype or text, but not much. And I was actually okay with it.

What changed more? Oh yea. The boys... Kinda left. Basically their band, 5 Seconds of Summer, began uploading covers to YouTube, became YouTube celebs, were asked by One Direction to be their support act. They dropped their things, left their families and friends, dropped out of school and toured around the world, first with One Direction, and after that at their own tour. So yea. I think you can imagine why they aren't here, at the day of our graduation. Right now, the principal is telling a story, what bores me to death. When I looked around I saw all the people in my year sitting around me in their fancy graduation gowns and hats. I smiled as I looked around. Anna grabbed my hand and squeezed it tightly. "I miss them." She sniffled. "Don't cry. You don't want them here. They left us okay?" I said. You might think that's a bit dramatic but it was true. They said we'd Skype every day but we haven't talked to them for over a year. And obviously we couldn't contact them, because they changed numbers every month or so. "They probably forgot about us. Let's do the same, and just forget about them okay?" I said while I gave her a side hug. She nodded and wiped her tears away. Sure, I missed them. I missed the old them. The 2 years back- them. I know that's not a proper sentence, but whatever. I graduated. I don't have to think about that anymore. And after this I'm just gonna work for a year, to save money. At the bar, of course, and I'm gonna work at a music store too. "I can't believe we're graduating Turtle." Anna said and I chuckled. She liked to call me Turtle now. In her words: 'Because you're awkward, just like a turtle.' It kinda makes sense.
