"Aren't you leaving too early, Faris?" Burak complained. They all were sitting at the dining table, having breakfast.

"My clinic needs me, Dad," he argued, without any glint in his tone. The taut attitude always zipped his parents' mouths to ask any further. This time, the same happened.

"Do you get to know anything about Faraan's whereabouts?" Faris asked, applying butter to a toast.

Burak shook his head. Whereas on the other side, Ajwa stiffened which Faris noticed well. He gave her a tentative look but couldn't understand the reason for her reaction. She disliked his brother so why was his mention upset her?

"I don't know where he has gone. I have asked one or two men of mine to look out for him but still no progress," Burak sighed remotely.

"I think he is really fine wherever he is. He will come back on his own when he will be assured that his path got cleared," Faris asserted.

Ajwa was bearing this annoying topic for a good amount of time but now she thought, if she would hear about that guy one more word, her veins would get spurt. She was about to stand up when Faris held her hand placed on her lap, under the table firmly. She raised a brow at him but he wasn't looking at her.

She tugged on his grip but it just resulted in him increasing it.

"I will also try to look for him from some of my sources. You don't worry, Dad," he mumbled, taking the last sip of the juice.

"We are getting late." That was when he freed her hand and she glared at him but this time, his eyes didn't have that playful flicker that was present since Ajwa got married to him. It was something grim. He wiped his lips with a napkin and stood up. "We should leave now."

She was sitting on the bed, looking outside of the window at the sky which was adorned with small, fluffy white clouds and sun. The weather outside was also vague; as there was a nice breeze even in sunlight, just like the weather of her inside. She was going so far away from her city, that too to a foreign place with a stranger. He already irked Ajwa and now he would be the one she had to live for forever.

Forever?

No, this wasn't forever. She didn't want a marriage like this. She would free herself from him.

Faris entered the room and saw her like this. But soon he remembered her reaction to his twin. Was she always going to sulk over the fact that he left her on her wedding day even though she didn't like him? Wasn't it too weird? But perhaps she didn't like when he was mentioned. Right now, he didn't want to bring Faraan between him and Ajwa. He wanted to give her some time to warm up to him.

"Didn't you get ready yet?" He asked as he walked in her direction.

Ajwa turned her head around. "I am ready."

"Is this your preparation?" He mumbled, inclining his head quizzically at her.

She believed she was wearing a pretty decent brown colored dress but according to Faris, it wasn't doing justice with her milky skin and attractive features. She was looking stunning in pink and now he blamed himself for even complimenting her.

"I think so or do you want me to wear the wedding dress?" She rolled her eyes and there he smiled. He liked seeing her being this feisty. He knew she was sad over the fact that she had to leave her family.

"That will be a great choice, Ajwa," he smirked.

And then her scowling again continued. Did she even realize that her cute angry brown eyes were making him lose his control? Of course, she didn't or else she would have never looked at him like this.
