When Ajwa reached home, it was past night now. The dusk was present and the sun was slowly trying to rise. Faint yellow light was all over the sky. The day never felt this gloomy and sad for her. She was so helpless and alone now. Everything was against her. Nothing was giving her any ray of hope. She never even in her worst nightmares imagined this.

But there was one thing which never changed and that was her sheer trust in her husband. She knew he could never do something like this. Someone was definitely trying to defame him. And Ajwa would go to any last resort to prove it. That was the confidence that wasn't letting her feel down. Even if this was a difficult time, however, it would pass.

She had no idea how Faris would be. Perhaps he would be in pain and he wouldn't have eaten anything. He would also be dying to see her as she was doing. This thought was consuming her from the inside. Everything happened so suddenly and abruptly that one couldn't comprehend it.

After visiting the police station, Ajwa and Kamraan reached home. By this time, the crowd had disappeared. Something for which they both were relieved.

"Bhabi, don't worry. Faris will be bailed out very soon. He didn't do anything and those who are innocent, they don't get punishment for no reason. But please you shouldn't stress yourself. Faris needs you the most right now," he advised her, gently.

Ajwa sighed and then nodded. Whatever it was, she wouldn't just let her guards fall down. Indeed Faris needed her to be strong right now.

"I will come in a while and then we will again go to the police station. Hopefully, the SHO will let us meet Faris," Kamraan said.

Ajwa clenched her jaw. "Today I won't leave there without meeting my husband."

Kamraan stiffly smiled and regarded her with admiration. That was such big news and anyone's trust could be broken terribly by this. But Ajwa had such a strong trust in Faris that she for once never seemed to be questioning his character and integrity.

"Yes. Let's see what SHO has to say. By the way, I am going to look into this matter by myself. Someone is certainly trying to frame Faris. That person had put Faris into the place of the murderer. This seemed a very tacky issue like someone from very near to Faris might be involved in this. I will also try to meet Fatima's parents," Kamraan informed her.

Ajwa bite her lower lip as she contemplated this. "True. That seems plausible."

"Fine then. I'll be there in the evening. Take care of yourself. Allah Hafiz," Kamraan mumbled and then took off.

Ajwa huffed while again feeling a big pressure on her stomach. This again made her insides churn. This big and happy news and she was still keeping it just to herself. Why did it happen? Faris would have been so delighted to know that he was about to become a father.

After a while, Javaria and her husband came to their house, looking all shocked and upset over the information that Faris had been arrested. The news of Alice's murder and Faris's involvement in it had been notified by many leading news channels.

Maybe everyone was thinking of Faris as a culprit but Ajwa knew he wasn't. She had her full trust in him and she knew he would never do something to smash it so brutally.

The news had spread like fire and now again the crowd started appearing outside their house. Many who knew Faris deeply still didn't want to believe it. They were also thinking that he had been wrongly accused of it. They had sympathy for him. While some people were against Faris from the start. The way he made reforms in this valley in association with the health and medical conditions, was frowned upon by many conservative minds. So now many were happy and said that they could already predict that Faris wasn't the nice a man as he portrayed himself to be.
