As soon as Faris entered the room, he saw his twin grumbling in pain with his eyes closed. He was breathing heavily but thank God he was finally awake. Faris approached him and then checked his normal vitals.
"Faraan, are you feeling well?" Faris asked, bending near him so that he could hear him.
Faraan slowly opened his eyes and nodded his head.
"You aren't having pain anywhere. Right?" Faris again questioned.
Faraan took in the sight of his twin brother. At least he was here.
"No," when he spoke, his voice seemed troubled and thick. Faris felt he heard his voice after ages.
Faraan looked so weak and pale. The big bandage around his head was not going well with his persona. Faris had always found him very fresh and elegant. Compared to him, Faraan used to care for his grooming very well. Now seeing him in such a state made Faris feel bad for him. He felt immense love for his brother.
At that time, he forgot everything which he had done from fleeing away. His mind was just focused on how much pain he must have suffered.
"Get up Faraan and eat a bit. Then you have to take your medicines as well," he mumbled and supported him to sit.
Today Faris saw he was accepting whatever he was saying without speaking a word. It was very unlike Faraan. Jazib and he helped him to walk on his feet and reach the washroom to get freshened up.
"How did this happen, Faraan?" Faris brought up the suspicion running in his mind since the start.
Faraan who was drinking water after meal stiffened for a moment before looking at him. He put the glass on the side table and coughed to clear his throat.
"A car accident," he simply replied.
"How?" Faris raised a brow.
Faraan twisted his mouth. "I was driving the car and then the accident happened."
"Car? Whose car? Why did you fly in such a state?" Faraan sighed hearing such questions from him. He never like anyone, especially Faris's interventions in his life but if he needed the safety of his life and wanted to go back to his father's house then he need Faris's help. Without him, it wouldn't be possible. He had to use him as a channel to appease Burak. He very much knew his Dad would be very angry at him for disappearing like this.
That life-threatening accident had almost put his life at stake. Sana couldn't make it and she died straight away. While Faraan got severely hit on his head and neck. His neck got dislocated while he survived major complications of head injury. He was about to go into a coma but he opened his eyes miraculously after the twenty-fifth day of the accident. But then his bad days started. He had nothing. Sana's benefits ended with her death. Her whole business, property, and wealth got named after her son from that previous marriage. Faraan was left with empty hands.
Then another fear engulfed him. He started getting frightened by the sound and sight of the police siren. He just thought they were here to capture him for murdering Alice. Even once in the hospital, when a few policemen came for another case of suicide, he got apprehensive and then this feeling never died. It became more. He felt like he would turn crazy if he would keep on staying in Turkey. His mental state because of that accident had made him such a coward that he forgot the fact that he had played such a smooth game that he was safe. Moreover, it was Alice who was trying to kill him. The attack done in self-defense wasn't considered a crime anyway.
He was alone here with nothing to himself. No wealth, no status, nothing. Once this money would end, he would be left with zero. He really needed to think about his future. He didn't want a poor life. He needed everything.
