The next day, Ajwa was in Kamraan's car as they were driving back from the police station, after talking to the SHO which still remained futile. Instead, they were told that they should stop forcing Alice's family for peace or change their statement.

"Did you find anything?" She asked him.

He looked at her for a while before shaking his head. "Till now no progress."

"Why didn't you meet with that woman's family yet?" Ajwa was furious more than she should be.

Last night due to Faraan, her rage was heightening.

"I did, Bhabi. But her father isn't willing to hear anything. He thinks we are threatening him. And I am afraid if we keep on going to him, he will complain to police that we are coercing him and that will not prove to be good for us," he said, matter of factly.

Ajwa sighed. "Then what should we do?" Then she gritted her teeth in anger. "The one who did this is roaming around freely and Faris who has no link to it is just bearing it because that jerk is his twin."

Ajwa had told everything to Faris's friend as well and he despite getting shocked by this revelation, knew this would be the real thing.

"Bhabi, you are right. But we should get some evidence against him. Otherwise, nothing will happen," he mumbled, moving the steering wheel toward the right.

"From where we should evidence? He played this game so smartly. Everyone knew that culprit as Faris, Ajwa whispered.

Then suddenly she remembered something and then her eyes gleamed. "There is one person in all this who knows that the one who betrayed her has a twin brother as well."

Kamraan narrowed his eyes at her. "Who?"

Ajwa licked her lips. "A few days ago when I met SHO, he reported another woman claiming to be betrayed and looted by Faris and she knew that Faris has a twin. So far, no girl who was framed by that person said this."

"So you mean to say that this woman and Faraan have probably teamed up?" Kamraan inquired.

"Absolutely!" Ajwa flickered her finger. "She is the one whom he has used recently to defame Faris. From his side, Faraan had planned a permanent perimeter for Faris by asking her to say the same thing in addition to knowing the twin. For the police, it acted as a last straw against Faris. She seems to be knowing the truth. And we can find the truth if we get to meet her."

"Did the SHO tell her name?" Kamraan's question made Ajwa speechless for a moment. He did mention her name but why did she forget it?

Ajwa rubbed her temple to remember it again. 

"Yes Marina," she announced after a while.

But on the other side, Kamraan's jaw dropped. "Marina?"

She nodded. "That was her name."

"Did she say the same thing which every victim of Alice's murderer is saying?" He asked.

Ajwa shrugged her shoulders. "Yes that first he tricked her into his love and then he looted her of her wealth and then broke it."

Kamraan exhaled. "You are right, Bhabi. It's all done by Faraan. Marina was the woman whom Faris was going to marry a few years back but she wasn't a good girl. She was cheating on Faris with another man and when Faris got to know this, he left her. Nothing like this happened in their case. It was she who betrayed him not him."

That was the time for Ajwa to get puzzled. "Faris was going to marry her?"

Now Kamraan realized what he blurted out. "That's true. But it was almost four years before. He just wanted to get settled in his life by marrying someone and she seemed a better option for him because she was his class fellow as well."
