"Hi," Faraan greeted, painfully forcing himself to look away from Ajwa since his brother was here and he certainly didn't want to mess up his game so quickly.

"Are you going somewhere Faraan?" Faris asked seeing him ready in black trousers and a purple hoodie.

"I am going to meet Jazib. I am very bored of sitting home all the time and doing nothing," he replied calmly.

Faris's eyebrows gritted. "It's really soon, Faraan. You aren't properly healthy now. And driving isn't better for you right now as well."

Faraan hissed. "I knew it that's why I asked Jazib to pick me up. He will be here anytime soon."

Faris nodded. "That's better than. But don't strain your head too much."

Faraan tried hard to not make a distasteful face at his brother's instructions. He smiled in reassurance and his eyes went back to Ajwa who never spoke anything since the start. She wasn't even attentive to them perhaps. Her whole focus was on that single earring in her hand.

Faraan slowly walked towards her and towered to her. His gaze drilled through her as though she was a wonder which he should have gotten.

"How are you...Ajwa?" He questioned which made her look up at him. So much like her husband.

He had a smile on his face. But that smile wasn't like Faris. It was sly and fake. On the other hand, whenever Faris smiled, she felt butterflies roaming in her whole stomach. That wasn't the case right now. She was instead feeling irritated by this twisting of her lips.

Now as she was seeing him closely, she was finally able to see the difference between both of them. Faraan had a very sharp and wily aura while Faris had a calm and relief feel around himself. If she would be to make a comparison then Faris was like a cool and sweet winter day and Faraan was like a hot and intimidating day. Faraan also had a scar below his right eye which gave him more pointed vibes.

Ajwa didn't know how Faraan accepted her marriage to Faris instead of him. To be honest, she wasn't even bothered by him as regards her except for the fact that she didn't want him to ruin her relationship with Faris by either emotionally blackmailing or forcing him. She expected her husband to take a stand for her and never do anything under pressure that could affect their life.

"Very happy," she replied, truthfully.

Faraan's upper lip jerked up in wrath but he stopped himself at the way where it would become visible. He was a master of forgery after all.

He gave her a sweet expression. "Looks like Faris is taking care of you very well."

Ajwa looked at Faris and the way her eyes softened and that faint smile came across her lips told Faraan that he wasn't wrong when he said that they both had accepted each other.

"Of course. Faris is a very nice husband. A really responsible person who knows how to take care of commitments. For him, responsibility is beyond any wish of his own," she asserted proudly which made Faris look adorably at her.

Faris understood what she meant here and if she would really get the anger of three months upon Faraan by this civil outburst, then there was nothing bad in it. He knew Faraan did wrong with her family and she was already filled with rage for this fact. However, he decided to talk about this to her once alone. This should just remain sophisticated and small. Today this would be ending. It shouldn't increase and Ajwa shouldn't keep things against his brother for too long. He wanted both of them to accept the reality that they were associated with each other by just him.

Faraan on the other hand also wasn't unknown to the attack Ajwa launched at him. She was talking about her sister and how Faraan left her and chose Ajwa instead.
