First Glance [Minsung]

Chapter 1

"Eat your lunch and stop looking at the poor boy. His cheeks are gonna explode." Chan nudges his arm.

"A boy?" Changbin asks.

"Got a problem with that?"

"No." Changbin immediately shakes his head, shivers run down his spine upon hearing the speaking tone used by Minho just now.

"The bell's gonna chime soon so you better finish your lunch."

Not wanting to hear another nag from the oldest among the three, Minho then starts to dig in.

"Is it just me or Minho hyung keeps staring at our table?" Jeongin curiously asks.

"Really?" Seungmin asks back, shamelessly turns his head to certain direction and catches the senior in the act. "Woah... he doesn't even hide it, huh."

"That explains why I feel like something's burning my back." Hyunjin chimes in. "I don't think I did something stupid during the game though."

Felix giggles, finding it amusing. "Don't worry, Hyunnie. He does staring, but not at you."

"Then who?" He stops chewing.

The three then follows Felix's gaze that lands on Jisung whom tries his best to act normally, yet he cannot help but stop chewing and hold his breath unknowingly.

"They keep squealing like crazy." Felix motions his head to the table near to them which is taken by some girls, right behind Jisung. The teasing grin on the corners of his lips naturally gets wider when his cousin meets his eyes, probably curses him inside his head as well.

"I heard he has dated several girls. The exes were the ones confessing, though. So that'll be the first time he shows interest in someone I guess?" Hyunjin states, or rather trying to convince himself. His mind still refuses to believe that one of the upperclassmen in his basketball club does have interest in those girls.

"I still think he's staring at our table." Jeongin argues. "Lixie hyung, Sungie hyung... Why don't we test it out?"

Hyunjin clears his throat, eyes sending a death glare to Jeongin as a hint that he's not fond of the idea. "Stop feeding your curiosity and finish your food. The next class is starting soon."

"But now I'm curious." Felix innocently suggests. "What is your plan, Innie?"

"Well... Why don't you two try make some eye contact with Minho hyung? If it doesn't bug him then he really does staring at the girls next to us."

"Fair enough." Felix agrees immediately. "Let's do it, Sungie~"

Jisung rapidly shakes his head to the side then takes another spoonful of his meal even when he's still chewing in an attempt to look like he's busy.

Wanting to play cupid, Felix whispers, "Or do you prefer me talking about last night-"

"One. Two. Twe." Jisung cuts off and both of them instinctively look at Minho's direction simultaneously.

Jeongin's mouth goes agape upon seeing certain senior suddenly have a coughing fit from the action done by his two best friends. He then instinctively shifts his attention to Hyunjin whom lightly clenches his jaw then mouths 'sorry' to him which earns a defeated sigh in return.

But as much as he hates seeing Hyunjin look like this, it's probably for the best.
