Chapter 18

"Jisung told me it's okay. But it still feels weird."

"Okay to what exactly? Hyunjin liking you? Or you and him dating?"

Seungmin calmly licks his ice cream while his best friend is having a coughing fit next to him, seemingly not considering to help the latter either.

"So?" Another lick.

"You're annoying."

"Not the first time hearing that."

Felix doesn't immediately respond once he calms down. With the tip of his nose still red—and probably his cheeks too from entirely different reason—he focuses himself on trying to get every boba he gets in his drink.

"Can I order another sandwich?"

Felix gasps at the question. "You already ate two!"

"That's the price from keeping me here."

"Shib-" Felix sighs. "Fine. I'll answer your question."

"And that is??"

"He's- Jisung is okay with both."

"But?"

"Like I said, it still feels weird."

"What does this weird feeling you refer to anyway?" Seungmin raises his eyebrows. "Jisung feels okay with you and Hyunjin dating? Or you considering to accept and date Hyunjin?"

If Felix was a ticking bomb, he would be exploded by now.

Watching Hyunjin and Jeongin practicing basketball is not something unusual, although not too often done by Jisung, Felix, and Seungmin. They do so when the five of them plan to go to cinema to watch some newest movie they are interested to manifest their time in. The place isn't far from the school after all, only two bus stops away.

But today, there's no movie Jisung and Hyunjin are after to. And without the presences of his other friends next to him, only then he realizes how intimate the situation is.

Jisung's head spins and not in a good way. He cannot help but think what if Minho misunderstands the situation? After all, Minho knows he has a crush on Hyunjin and he's here to wait for the so-called crush to finish his practice. Jisung curses himself for doing so. Minho will absolutely misunderstand.

Jisung tries to calm himself down. "One at a time", he says to himself. After he listens to what Hyunjin wants to say, he will talk to Minho. He will address the reason why he refused to let the kiss happen. Yes. That's it. That's the plan.

Unless the universe is against him.
