[Flashback]
That night wasn't the first time he saw Jisung. Although he must say it was indeed his first time being so close with the younger, whom gracefully naked. He actually has noticed him from the very beginning; from the day he and the freckled boy moved in.
"Notice" was such an understatement, in fact. Because apparently, he has felt an unknown yet strong pull toward Jisung since the first glance.
Minho couldn't take his eyes off of Jisung. His chubby cheeks contrasting the small lips; his round eyes that perfectly match with his thick eyebrows and long eyelashes; his fluffy brown hair that bounce when he giggles or bows, he wonders how soft it would feel if he ever had a chance to touch it and slip his fingers through it.
He felt like a creep for looking at his new neighbor through the door gap. And yet, he could not find the courage to open the slight ajar door and join his mother who apparently has called his name several times.
Because the feeling; the somewhat natural pull toward Jisung was foreign. He didn't dislike it, but he might need some time to get used to it.
After all, it's not every day that he found out he was capable of being emotionally attracted to someone, with the same gender at that.

"There's nothing wrong with it, you know that." Chan interrupted Minho's not so secretive and repetitive glance toward certain direction in the sport hall, earning a glare. "Glaring at me only proves my point."
"It still feels weird... though I don't dislike the idea."
"What's stopping you then?"
Minho opens his mouth but closes it. He does that several times, yet Chan is patiently waiting for the response as if he has all the time in the world. He is apparently expected to be in soccer field in about two minutes from now, but his club members can wait.
"My mom". Minho finally utters something. "I don't know what my mom would think of me if- if I am- if I like a boy."
Chan hums. "It's a shocking news for you too, so it's understandable if you try to put yourself in your mom's shoes."
Minho nods. "Besides, I haven't even learned about his name. Let alone- y'know- whether he likes boy or not."
"So pining is your only solution to solve those I guess?"
"Yeah... I'll just rely on fate." Minho bitterly chuckles. "Romantic, aren't I?"
Chan snorts. "Fate, my ass. You've failed her. We've coincidentally met him and his roommate several times, remember? Maybe, you can start by smiling back at him. Who knows that one simple step may take you to get know him. So next time fate leads you to him, don't fail her again."
Minho laughs at that. "Yeah yeah."
"Promise?"
His eyes rolls in annoyance, yet Chan can see the fondness on them upon the idea. "Promise."

"Minho, baby, can you bring these foods to the kids living opposite us? I accidentally spilled some juice on my cloth." His mother asks.
Minho chuckles, a silly smile appears on his lips. "That's fast, fate."
