Jisung's father ends up going inside the building and greets the instructor along with the extracurricular teacher when his original plan was just to drop off his son. They seemingly get along with each other, talk some more before eventually saying goodbye to everyone, not forgetting to remind Jisung to tell him when he is done.
As they come to the camp in the middle of training, Jisung waits for his friends in the spectator seat. The sport hall probably has the same size as the one facilitated by the school, but since there are more trainees, it looks a little cramped somehow. He remembers Jeongin mentioned about having some friendly matches as one of the main activities during the camp, so he figures that is the reason why.
The instructor invites him to join lunch, not forgetting to ask the trainees to thank Jisung for the homemade food he has brought. The latter just shakes his head sheepishly—not used to be given and having spotlight—saying he will make sure to tell his mother about it.
The jittery feeling slowly fades as he eats while listening to Hyunjin's and Jeongin's rants about the place. Horror stories seem to be the first topic they can come up since their instructor is sitting a few feet away. Most of them time he just chews the gimbap, stores some banchan inside his cheeks, and reacts to stories with widened eyes or mouth forming a small o. He in fact almost believes in those, brushing off the fact his two best friends can be so dramatic when he feels something keeps following his every movement.
Not until he catches it. And it seems that this something, or rather someone, doesn't mind being caught.
So they stare at each other. Not minding what's happening around them. No longer catch what their best friends are talking about to the point they do not notice when they stop talking.
