Chapter three: They're Back!!

"Thank you again for the ride Stolas" 'Charlie said with a tone of sincerity in her voice'

"Oh it's no trouble at all my dear. I would want either of you getting hurt, especially not my nephew" 'Stolas said as he helped Charlie out of the Limousine'

"Oh! And if you ever need someone to watch after the boy I would be more than happy too, I could even arrange for someone to take care of him, I know just the people" 'Stolas offered excitedly, clapping as he did so'

'A tired rumble escaped from Ryker as he shook his head, resting his chin on Vaggie's shoulder  to look up at the older bird like demon'

"Oh, my apologies. I didn't mean to wake you, go back to sleep my boy" 'Stolas said with an apologetic chuckle, patting Ryker's head gently'

'The tired hell spawn let out a irritated growl as he shook his head, his horns and eyes lighting back up a vibrant yellow'

"Well someone's going to be up for a while" 'Vaggie said with a sigh as she held Ryker tighter'

"Goodbye Stolas" 'Charlie said with a chuckle as she turned to both Ryker and Vaggie'

"Goodbye my dear. Keep me updated on this one" 'Stolas said as he stepped back into his limousine, closing the door behind him'

'Ryker shook his head once more as he nestled his face into the crook of Vaggie's neck, tired growl coming from him'

"I know bud, We'll put on a movie for a bit okay?" 'Vaggie said softly as she rubbed Ryker's head, joining Charlie at the door to the hotel'

"I'll go put some popcorn on" 'Charlie said as Ryker looked to her, booping his nose as he did'

'As she sat down on the couch, Vaggie set Ryker down, the tyke stood under his own weight for a moment before his strength failed him, causing him to collapse'

"The party took a lot out of you huh?" 'Vaggie said softly as she pet Ryker's head, earning a weak nod from him'

'After a few moments Charlie came back into the living room with a bowl of popcorn, after handing the bowl to Vaggie she picked Ryker up, sitting him down on her lap'

"Lay down hun, rest up" 'Charlie said softly, causing Ryker to look up to her'

'Ryker briefly hesitated before doing so, a soft rumble coming from him as he did so'

'It didn't take long for Ryker to end up in a ball fast asleep. The young hell spawn was completely exhausted'

"It feels like yesterday that we found him on the doorstep doesn't it?" 'Vaggie asked in a whisper, earning a nod from Charlie as she started a movie'

"Still think I shouldn't have opened the crib?" 'Charlie asked in a teasing tone, earning a soft laugh from Vaggie'

"I'm glad you did. It was stupid, but it turned out okay" 'Vaggie said in an honest tone, earning a light giggle from her girlfriend'

'The two shared a brief but sweet kiss before getting comfortable, returning their attention to the movie in front of them'

'As time passed the two of them ended up falling asleep, Charlie was resting her head on Vaggie's who had leaned over to Charlie'

'The princess of hell could be seen drooling slightly, All three of them were even more tired than they had known. For Charlie the emotional strain of fixing her relationship with her father was likely the catalyst for her exhaustion'

'Vaggie however was likely tired from the constant flow of anxiety from having to converse with her girlfriend's parents'

'Ryker got to explore and fly around pretty much the entire time, as it turned out Lucifer had planned for that very thing. So the tyke was able to play without disturbing the guests'

'As the movie played quietly, Angel Dust snuck back in to the hotel, a small smirk crossing his face as he noticed the trio passed out'

'After a moment Angel Dust returned to the living room with a large blanket, slowly and silently draping it over the sleeping parents and child'

"There ya go" 'Angel said to himself in a whisper, picking up the bowl of popcorn from the coffee table'

'Angel sat down on the small love seat with the popcorn, curiously watching the movie'
