Chapter Two- Sleepy days

'Over the past few days Charlie and Vaggie had been planning for Ryker's birthday, meaning one of them has to keep the tyke occupied when the other is planning'

'For the most Charlie has been spending time with him, however it was now Vaggie's turn and it would seem she was quite happy to watch over him'

'Vaggie was always prone to stressing herself out rather easily, so she was more than looking forward to spending time with her son'

'Vaggie always tended to get the easier ways of keeping Ryker content. But Charlie seemed to be able to match his energy so she didnt mind'

'Ryker was always a lot more cuddly with Vaggie than he was Charlie, which Vaggie didnt mind of course'

'Vaggie quite enjoyed a nice nap every so often. And she always seemed to be in better spirits with Ryker around'

'That was likely just from Ryker himself. Just like Charlie he always seemed to lift the spirits of anyone around him,especially if he cares for them'

'At the moment Vaggie is showing Ryker a few videos on her phone. Mainly of birds, Ryker seemed to quite enjoy nature'

'Many of the birds Ryker showed curiosity over made simmilar noises as to him whenever he uses his less vocal form of communication'

'Eventually a bird simmilar to a toucan comes onto the screen, causing Ryker to tilt his head, letting out a curious hum'

'Vaggie simply smiles at her son's reaction, he always was a softy when it came to animals'

'Once the phone dies Ryker freezes, seeing his reflection in the black phone screen'

'Ryker curiously reaches upto his horns, pating them curiously before tilting his head'

'Ryker then shakes his head, looking up at Vaggie, a clearly happy expression crossing his face'

Vaggie: "What're you so happy about?" 'Vaggie asks with a soft smile, earning a light hum from Ryker'

'Vaggie let's out a light yawn, having been rather tired due to her negligence of her own sleeping schedual, causing Ryker to let out a curious hum, looking up at his mother'

Ryker: "Nap time?" 'Ryker asks curiously, tilting his head as he does so'

'Vaggie hums to herself in thought before looking forward, blinking tiredly for a moment'

Vaggie: "Yep" 'Vaggie says in an overly exaggerated serious tone, earning a light giggle from Ryker'

'Eventually after some preparation Vaggie had turned the couch in the lounge area into a makeshift bed'

Vaggie: "Popcorn?"

Ryker: "Check!"

Vaggie: "Ultra comfy blankets?" 'Vaggie asks looking at the couch, only for Ryker to pop his head out of the large pile of Blankets'

Ryker: "Check!"

'Vaggie simply picks Ryker up, earning a light smile from him'

Vaggie: "I feel like I'm forgetting somthing...." 'Veggie says with a knowing grin, gently tapping her finger against her chin'

Ryker: "Movies!" 'Ryker says raising his arms, earning a light chuckle from his mother'

'Sitting herself down on the couch after placing Ryker down she climbs under the large blanket, gently patting the couch as she lifts up the blanket'

'Ryker jumps up onto the couch, crawling through the blankets before he pops his head out next to Vaggie, letting out a soft hum'

'As Vaggie turns on the movie she had selected she picks up Ryker, bringing him into a soft hug'

'This was a regular thing for the two of them. Ryker was always much more snuggly with Vaggie. While he did occasionally have a nap with Charlie he more often than not played with her'

'It was rather quick that Ryker had fallen asleep, he always felt safest with one if his mothers. Often resulting in him falling asleep rather quickly'

'Vaggie looks down to Ryker only to see him fast asleep, the glow on his horns growing or falling in intensity with his breathing'

'Vaggie was definetly the more protective parent. She was absolutely mortified of the though of Ryker getting hurt, let alone someone hurting him'

'No one would hurt him as long as she was around. She would make sure of it'

'Vaggie places a kiss on Ryker's forehead before she herself got more comfortable, quickly finding herself falling asleep'
