Chapter One- A Day Out

'Nearly a week has passed since Ryker had gotten sick and much to Charlie and Vaggie's relief he has made a full recovery!'

'Despite the lingering side effects from being as sick as he was. He seems as energetic as ever, in fact he seems to have grown slightly'

'While not enough to actually make  a difference in his height it would seem Ryker has filled out a little bit. Having a slightly bulkier appearance. His horns also seem to be a bit more pronounced, the horns on the sides of his head now having a slight curve to them'

'Even Ryker's eyesockets seem to have changed, taking a slightly softer appearance instead of their previous narrowed one'

'Over all his appearance had changed to a slightly less threatening one'

'Both Charlie and Vaggie had been taken by surprise from the sudden appearance change. Both finding it quite peculiar'

'However they quickly just added it to the list of strange things involving their adoptive son'

'At the moment both Vaggie and Charlie are walking along the street's of the city, Charlie being the one pushing the black stroller she and Vaggie had bought for Ryker'

'Despite his full recovery, Ryker had been quite tired ever since the his sickness passed, during to this he is currently fast asleep in the stroller, the cloth canopy being closed'

'The two of them had decided it was time for Ryker to see some parts of the outside world'

'Both Vaggie and Charlie had agree'd when he turns three years old that they will be putting him into school, however it was one that Charlie's very own mother is the principal of. Which came as quite a surprise to the two'

'Both Charlie and Vaggie knew Ryker was just around two years old. So they had some time with him before anything big really started happening'

'They were both prepared to take on the future together, as both of them had been dating for quite some time, they had grown to understand what they are capable of together'

'Neither of them expected to be parents, especially to a Hellspawn, but it had been quite the ride already'

'Ryker had only brought the two of them closer together, both of them quickly finding themselves quite protective of him'

'Despite this they both know things will only get more hectic, if it involves Ryker it will likley be more entertaining than anything'

'Eventually they arrive at the Park they had been looking for'

'The park was quite small, but surprisingly scenic given it's in hell. Once at picnic table Charlie makes her way around to the front of the stroller, lifting the canopy up just enough, trying not to blind Ryker'

'Charlie then Gently taps Ryker's head waking him up, earning a light yawn from him'

Charlie: "Hey buddy. Were here, it's time to wake up" 'Charlie says causing Ryker to sit up, stretching for a moment before he softly bump's his forehead against Charlie's'

Charlie: "Awwe, I love you too buddy" 'Charlie says with a chuckle, picking him up'

'After setting Ryker down on the grass he freezes for a moment before he curiously Pat's the ground'

'As he looks around curiously, both Vaggie and Charlie cant help but crack a smile'

'Ryker practically seems entranced by his surroundings, likley from the variety of colors'

'However Ryker's attention is quickly grabbed by one of the many tree's in the park earning a light smirk from Vaggie'

Vaggie: "Oh here we go" 'Vagge says shaking her head slightly, placing her hands on her hips'

'Ryker then curiously crawls over to the tree, slinking through the taller parts of the grass as he does so'

'Once he gets close enough he backs up before jumping towards the tree, swiftly climbing up it and vanishing into the leaves'

'With a light chuckle Vaggie walks over standing under the tree, looking up'

Vaggie: "What do you think you're doing up there mister?" 'Vaggie asks as Ryker looks down at her, the only part of him being visibly being his glow'

'Shortly after, Ryker hangs down from the branch he had been crouching on, having wrapped his tail around the branch, now hanging just at Eye level with Vaggie'

'Ryker let's out an excited rumble, glowing yellow slits appearing briefly on the sides of his neck'

Vaggie: "Really now?" 'Vaggie asks with a smile in turn earning one from Ryker'

Charlie: "I told you he would like it here" 'Charlie says with a light laugh as she walks over to the two'

Vaggie: "I think he just likes hanging off of things" 'Vaggie says crossing her arms as Ryker drops to the ground'

'The two watch as Ryker slinks through the tall grass around them, practically disappearing into it before they both suddenly lose track of him'

'Before either of the pair can begin to Panic, Ryker jumps out at Charlie's left leg "Attacking" it as he wraps himself around it. Managing to stagger her slightly'

'Looking down at Ryker Charlie let's out a  soft giggle, clearly amused at her son's antics'

'Ryker surely seemed to be enjoying himself, his glow was much brighter than normal, along with his tail remaining unwrapped from his waist, occasionally twitching'

'After a few moments Ryker makes his way up to Charlie's shoulder before jumping back onto the tree infront of her, sitting himself down on a low hanging branch'

Charlie: "You certainly seem to be feeling better now" 'Charlie says poking Ryker's nose, earning a light hum from him'
