The Smallest Hell spawn (A Hazbin Hotel Side Story)

Chapter Three- Growing Up

'Charlie was stealthily walking around the hotel, night having fallen and the lights being turned off'

'She was in her more demonic form, allowing her to see in the dark, in her right hand a pistol of sorts could be seen'

'Charlie came to a stop as she felt two bullets impact her chest. Causing her to fall to the ground with a loud *Thud*'

'Moments Later Ryker walks over to her curiously, now being roughly three feet tall'

'Ryker shines his eyes down onto Charlie, casting her in a yellow light'

'On her chest are two foam darts stuck to her shirt via a suction cup on the end'

'On Ryker's back is a small rifle, a clear magazine attached to it showing multiple more darts inside of it'

'Ryker then moves onto his hands and knee's crawling over to Charlie's head, letting out a light hum'

Charlie: "Shush, mommy's dead now" 'Charlie says in a whisper before returning to her "death" '

'Ryker lets out a light huff, pulling the rifle off of his back before aiming it at Charlie's forehead, firing a single dart, causing it to get stuck to her'

'Almost instantly Ryker jumps away as Charlie sits up, pointing her pistol at him and firing shot after shot at him'

'Ryker jumps up onto a lamp fixture, coiling around it well enough to not get shot'

Charlie: "Oh this is so unfair!" 'Charlie says in a light laugh, stomping her foot momentarily'

'Ever since Ryker turned six, he and his moms have been getting much closer, now being able to hold actual conversations with him'

'As it turned out, Ryker was extraordinarily smart for his age, despite his innocence'

'Ryker leans out over the light fixture, letting out a small laugh, only for a dart to be shot right onto his forehead'

'Ryker lets out a light groan before he falls to the ground, playing dead upon impact'

'Charlie turns around finding Vaggie behind her, leaning around the doorway carefully'

Charlie: "My hero!" 'Charlie says over dramatically, placing a kiss on Vaggie's cheek'

'Ryker shakes his head momentarily before pulling the foam dart off of himself, standing up in a slightly dazed state'

'Upon recovering, Ryker looks over to Charlie and Vaggie, aiming his rifle at Vaggie'

'Vaggie was abruptly stunned as a dart places itself in the center of her forehead causing Vaggie to glare at her son competitively'

'Ryker lets out a defiant hum, stomping one foot on the ground. A puff of glowing  yellow steam coming from his nose'

Vaggie: "Oh really now? That's how you wanna play this?" 'Vaggie asks with an amused tone, gripping the handle of her dart gun tightly'

'With a burst of speed Ryker dashes under Vaggie, causing her to jump after him, landing on her stomach in a huff'

Vaggie: "Ow..." 'Vaggie says quietly. Causing Ryker to walk over to her. Letting out a soft rumble'

'Ryker gently nudges Vaggie with his forehead. Tilting his head curiously at her lack of a response'

Vaggie: "Gotcha!" 'Vaggie says loudly, lunging at Ryker. Picking him up as she rolls'

'Upon moving into a sitting position Vaggie looks down at Ryker who is shaking his head, now being dazed once again'

Vaggie: "I win" 'Vaggie says with a triumphant grin, earning a light giggle from Ryker'

'Ryker then presses his forehead against Vaggie's a soft melodic hum coming from him for a moment'

Vaggie: "You make it REALLY hard to win and gloat at the same time" 'Vaggie informs as Ryker pulls his head back to look at her, sticking his yellow tongue out briefly'

Vaggie: "Rude" 'Vaggie says with mock offense in her voice, a light grin on her face'

Charlie: "D'awww. You two are adorable" 'Charlie says leaning over to two, a light smile on her face'

'Ryker simply shakes his head, flapping his wings for a moment before stretching them, showing their near six foot long wingspan, the wings themselves producing a dull yellow light'

Vaggie: "Huh, these are getting pretty big,  might have to go through a wardrobe change soon" 'Vaggie says holding one of Ryker's wings open before it can close'

Charlie: "His tail's getting pretty long too" 'Charlie says looking at Ryker's tal. Having picked it up, causing it's blade to unsheath for a moment. Making Charlie jump'

Charlie: "Sharper too" 'Charlie says with a light chuckle, catching Ryker's attention'

'Ryker moves his tail infront of himself, showing just how long it had grown, having it coil in the air slightly'

Vaggie: "Oooh i have the prefect idea for a new set of clothes for him!" 'Vaggie says excitedly as Ryker stands up, jumping out of her arms onto the floor'

Charlie: "You say thay but every time we just settle on hoodies and jeans for him" 'Charlie says placing a hand on her hip'

'Charlie and Vaggie were interrupted by Ryker flapping his wings as he gets into a crouched position'

'The two watch as Ryker jumps into the air, using his wings to keep himseld aloft momentarily as he grabs onto one of the rafters, causing Charlie to drop her dart gun with wide eyes'

Vaggie: "That was his first time flying." 'Vaggie says with a proud smile as Charlie raises her hands'

Charlie: "AND I WAS HERE TO SEE IT!" 'Charlie says smiling widely, jumping momentarily'
