Daily work on my fire station, checking the Equipment, cleaning the trucks and so on

We already had two false alarms today, because some stupid Teenager thought it's funny to call 911 because they're bored

Lightly annoyed i stepped in my truck with my Crew. Im the proud captain of truck 51

"yo captain y/l/n (your last name)" my crewmate Tony yelled
"what" I said
"did you already Heard, our Crew is sent to search for someone special"

Everyone laughed

Then we arrived
"captain y/l/n, you know what you have to do Here, right?" deputy fire chief sheppard asked
"thats right sir" I asnwered

"Okay, keep your crew ready, chief gallown will Show you where to go"

I Tried my best to keep my head clear and just Focus on saving her

"hey, everything okay?" marwan asked
I nodded my head

"captain y/l/n!" chief gallown waved his Hand showing me to come to him
"so, she should be in the 1. floor, basically easy to come there, but the stairs are broken, that means you should send in 3 people of your crew, not more thats too risky, oh and the Focus is on her"

"we're going to get everyone out of that house, no matter if they're old, young or famous"
"Yeah, yeah. I would suggest, you sent in only your best people, 'cause it's going to be a hard way"
"Yeah, I will Talk with my Crew"

"guys, im allowed to send in 3 people, not more, it's risky. I will go inside" i told my Crew
"I will go too" ryder said
"but you have Kids" marwan said
"but im old, I will go" He answered

"no you have Kids and a wife, I will go, I dont have anyone" she said walking to stand next to me
"okay, anyone else?" I asked

"okay, The rest of the crew is always available by radio and always has working equipment ready"

"okay then... Lets go" I say to myself
Then we walked into the burning house

"hey! There is a crowd of people stuck in this room, I need some help Real Quick" someone yelled, I know him hes from fire station 64

"i will help him go on" capp told me and marwan
"okay" marwan answered the she waved me showing me to Follow her

"y/l/n, how's the situation inside?" chief gallown asked per radio
"uh, right now, we arrived at the broken stairs and thinking how we get up"
"okay"

"I have an idea, but we have to wait for capp" marwan said
"well we dont have time to wait to wate for capp"
"I know thats the problem"

Then she went to a table
"hey, what are you doing?" I asked
"help me!" she said

She Pushed the table under the stairs, the half of them where okay
"i will go First" she said climbing onto the table

I also climbed ontop of it and hepled her up, then she hepled me
"capp?" I asked in my radio
"yes"

"theres a table by the stars, we went up there"
"okay, im already on my way"

"c'mon, lets find her" marwan said
We went through the diferent hotel rooms. A lot of Walls where already burned down. Fuck what if it's already too late

"marwan" I said
"yes"
"I will Look on the left side, you on the right"
"okay"

I opened the first door
"LA fire Departement, is anyone in Here?" I yelled
No anwer

Okay maybe the next door
"is Here anyone?"
Again. No answer

The next door
"LA fire Departement, is there someone?"
"Im Here" a heared a voice

I quickly made my way to where I Heard it
"Here!"
I ran to the person and looked on their face. God thanks it's billie

"are you alright"
"yes i am"
"okay, im going to bring you out of Here"
"okay

We walked out of the door together
"marwn, capp?" I yelled
"yes we're Here" capp said
"I have her"

"okay, we will Look if there are more people"
"Okay, I will tell the chief"

Billie and i walked together, to the stairs
"you need to jump on that table" I told her
"I-i cant"

"we will jump together, okay. I will help you!"
My Heart shattered in one Billion pieces as her eyes Started to water

"are you scared to die?" I asked her
"a little"
"nice me too"

"are you scared to jump down those five feets onto that table?" I added
"also a little" she said with the First tear slipping out of her eye

"billie, Look, you have your brother, your dog, you have your mum and dad, fuck you have a whole fanbase, so do it, for them"

"where do you have the motivation to do this Job?" she asked

"my parents kicked me out when I Was 17, i Do this because i dont want anything more then make them proud"
She looked at me

"c'mon and now we get out of This 'burning hell'!" I said
"okay" she said and smiled a little

I jumped down and helped her, then we ran out. I watched her ran straight into her Brothers arms, both are cryigg happy tears

I couldnt help but smile

Two days later, billie came to our fire station, with cupcakes
"hey, I just wanna say thank you, for saving my life" she said smiling

"no Problem, I just did my Job"
We looked at each other for a while
"can-can I give you a hug?" she asked breaking the silence

"of course"
Then we hugged. She smelled so nice
We said our goodbyes and i went inside again

On my way in, I saw a Peace of paper, I grabbed it

I smiled at the paper, the i opened the door to the kitchen wich is connected with the living room and looked up

All my collegues looked at me, with er arms croosed, sitting around the whole room, smirking at me

"what?" I asked
"c'mon, you know" marwan said
"uhmmm, no" I said scraching the back of my neck nervously

"you looked in each other eyes for good 20 minutes" ryder said and laughed
"oh shit, this long, I didnt even realized" I said more nervously

Everyone laughed
"the captain fell in love, the captain fell in love" gillan mocked jumping around the kitchen island

"stop!" I yelled
"the captain fell in love" He continued
"gillan, stop!" I warned again

"the captain fell in looooooove" He nearly sang
I just shook my head and leaved to the womens bathroom

I looked at the paper i had from her and then i looked in the mirror

'is she in love too? What is if not? Im scared' are the thaughts in my head

Suddenly i felt an arm around my shoulder
"dont worry, she loves you too" marwan said and giggled at my reaction
