Chapter 35: Vanilla donuts

Hoshi woke up feeling good and determined even with what happened yesterday. He was looking towards his duet with Woozi today !! Nothing mattered to Hoshi more than giving an extraordinary performance and he was not going to let anything baffle him. He quickly went in for a shower and got dressed for college. He made sure to keep his performance clothes separately in a duffel bag along with his shoes and mic.
He called Woozi once he got ready!

W: What is it ?

H: Goodmorning jihoonie hyung!! I just wanted to check on you ! Are you ready for today ??

W: Hiyyyaaaa ! How many times do I have to tell you to not call me jihoon ! I swear I'll kill coups one day! (Muttering under his breath)

H: Hyung you have to get up ! I'll come pick you soon !

W: Did you just ignore me and say something completely different ? Want to die?

H: I really like it when you threaten me! I'll be there soon !

W: Hiyaaa ! (Phone gets cut) This kid i swear!!
He kept mumbling curse words but also smiled and got up to take a shower.

As soon as he cut the call Hoshi's doorbell rung ! It gave him a little bit of jitters reminding him of the events of last night but he took a sigh of relief when it was just Mingyu with some food packaging. Hoshi smiled inside his head acting disinterested in front of the taller. Sometimes he was just thankful for Gyu being a part of his life.

M: I got us some food ! Let's eat before we go ! I got you your favourite vanilla iced donuts so you better eat them before the icing starts to melt. Aaahhh and I got you flowers as well but I didn't want you to think of me as a clingy guy so you can choose to accept them or not!

Soonyoung had already opened the box of vanilla donuts and was eating when he heard the flower thing. With a big bite of donut in his mouth he turned towards Gyu and smiled goofily. He gulped down half of what was in his mouth before he could finally speak!!
H: Oooohhhh looks like someone is a romantic ! (He giggled and Mingyu was happy just seeing him be happy) I haven't said yes to you though ! Why the flowers ?

M: ummmm let's see ! (Thinking of an excuse) How about to wish you good luck for your performance today ?

H: Ouuuuu ! That's a great excuse ! I'll accept the flowers then (smiling widely)

The flowers were a beautiful bunch of yellow and white with a central red rose.
H: it smells really nice ! Can you get me a glass from the kitchen ? (Mingyu nodded and went to look for a glass)

M: Why don't you try asking me why there is only one rose ?

H: Because you'll say something cringy like ; because there's only one Hoshi for me??

M: I did my share of cringe by bringing you flowers! Go ahead ask !! (Smirking)

H: alright ! Why's there only one red rose here ?

M: because that denotes the pervert in you !! (With that he ran away with his bag)

H: Kim Mingyuuuuuu ! Come here I'll kill you today !!!! (Grabbing his bags and the box of leftover donuts and then running after him)
