Chapter 36: The performance

After getting hit by Hoshi's cute little punches like a dozen times Mingyu pulled over at Woozi's house!
Once he picked up Woozi the three of them took of for the campus. It was usually comfortable for Woozi to sit with the other two in the car because they traveled from college to Hoshi's studio a lot. But this time it was a little suffocating. Looking at the other two making small conversations and giggling over stupid things he felt a little empty inside. But then he caught a glimpse of Hoshi's true smile and he knew he would always love this guy and take care of him no matter who he chose.

Surprisingly Mingyu didn't stop at the bus stop today, rather he took his car all the way to college with Soonyoung and woozi. A lot of people turned their eyes towards the black sports car as it entered the parking lot. It was like a declaration to the world that yes I'm rich but I have someone so stay away.
H: You have an excuse for this ? (Nudging Mingyu)

M: Of course ! Umm isn't it because it's the festival today and you guys have your performance ?

H: I don't think I'll accept the same excuse a third time Mr. Mingyu ! But sure let's go (smiling with excitement)

Woozi got out first gathered his bags and even took Soonyoung's duffel with him. Once the other two got off Mingyu ran towards Woozi and tapped him on his shoulder.

M: I'll take Hoshi's bag if that's okay, you don't need to carry it ! (He looked at the smaller polietly)

W: (giving him the bag) Ugh I hate you. Just make sure you take care of him, I mean this bag.

M: I will take care of them both then !!(smiling and taking off with the bag)

During lunch the final rehearsals took place and the lighting and sound was checked for the last time. The 12 friends sat together eating lunch and discussing about party plans for tomorrow when all the performances end !! Boo was made incharge of party games by himself and no one had any complains about it. They always let vernon take care of the hyper Boo. Everyone was just excited about what kind of crazy games he'll make them take part in.

Then finally the time came and the festival started. It would be a lie if people said they were not waiting for Woozi to perform. He had always been a mysterious and scary guy to most of the people but everyone looked forward to his performances. For two consecutive years he received the best performance award and to no doubt he deserved it. This was the first time they'd see him dance though. The excitement level was crazy. To add to that this was also the first time he was performing not solo and people were extremely curious to who the person was that got to perform with Woozi.

The curtains were drawn, the audience was jam packed and it was time for their performance. Hoshi stood behind the wing stretching and making funny noises with his throat while Woozi was sitting with his eyes closed. Since it was Hoshi's first official dance on stage in college he was a little nervous.

H: Hyung don't make a mistake !! (Nudging woozi)

W: Talk for yourself! I don't make mistakes!
Seeing how calm Woozi was made Soonyoung relax and all the jitters went away, he clasped his mic and they entered the stage.
