Chapter 5 Booseoksoon

Within a few days, the three freshers became popular among the club. Boo and Seok(dk) were the star vocalists while Soonyoung became a lead dancer. The three of them were called Booseoksoon the rookie stars and were always invited to dine with the seniors.
Mingyu on the other hand was constantly annoyed by the fact that people kept asking him to be their model for shooting while he himself needed someone to model for him during his regular classes. Girls would swarm him where ever he went and kept buying him stuff.
Mingyu came for a wealthy family but not a caring one. Anything he wanted he got, money was never a problem for him, but he never had any friends. People would always come to him either because he was rich or because he was hot.
Mingyu felt unwanted and hence lived a solitary life. He also hated the fact that people who he didn't even know bought him gifts (specially girls) he thought they were idiots for spending their money on someone who already has everything. Things bought with money were of no significance to him.
The only part of college he liked was the club. Everyone at the club was always busy and he enjoyed himself there. He was incharge of clicking the backstage pictures and making vcrs for all events. So he went to all the rooms unrestricted and enjoyed all the activities there. He became good friends with Booseoksoon because of Soonyoung who was someone he considered the closest to a friend.
He also enjoyed the time he spent in the dining hall on the club table. It had a long list of people on it who Mingyu thought were sensible people. There was Joshua the arts director, Coups and his boyfriend Jeonghan, Woozi, Minghao, Booseoksoon, there was Jun a senior, Vernon the spaced out kid who assisted Woozi and Chan a small looking boy who was Minghao's assistant. 12 people on a big table. Being with them Mingyu felt common and normal which he really liked. His plans for living like a regular kid from a regular family was working well and he was happy.

Today's discussion on the dining table was started by none other an Boo who loved to be the talker of the group.
"Coups hyung ! When will we get our initiation party ? Aren't the freshers who are selected supposed to get a crazy party by their seniors? I mean you gotta show us how to party so we can give you a crazier farewell you know ?"
Coups seemed ready for the question.He looked at the three leading people of the club (Josh,Woozi and Hao) who nodded at him before replying," Aaah ! So the thing is that we do need to give you all a party but there's a few seats left in the club, and the admission week hasn't finished yet either. We only have one last audition left on this Wednesday and then we'll announce the final names by Friday."
He took a pause thinking but before he could continue DK spoke " So does that mean we'll party friday night ?" With shining eyes.
"Yes that's the plan" Coups said smiling.
