i don't own horimiya!
i haven't finished the horimiya anime, but i read the manga far before the anime was announced! i'm so happy it gained so much popularity over the months. i reread the manga again as a refresher before writing this, but keep in mind translations could vary just as how the webcomic version can stray from the depiction in the anime (i'll try my best even though i haven't written him!)
by this i mean, i might be a bit off with my writing, regarding specifics, plot, etc. also cuz my memory fails me nowadays. nonetheless, i hope you enjoy this work ^^
i was a bit inspired by the use of the fake dating prompt in the webtoon, 'seasons of blossom: bomi's flower' and of course, my favorite trope.
and uhh, for plot reasons, remi and sengokus relationship ain't a thing (ik she's an interesting character but i need sengoku single for this to work) and hori isn't rlly a love interest? idk sdjsks but finding a way to properly replace a main character is just- so incredibly painful-
these things are subject to change tho ^^
i was thinking of making akane the initial love interest, but he isn't as popular //sorry bby ur still doing great ;=; <3
ignore the fact that chapter 71 of the manga has the same title, it is purely coincidential. also, since the group of ishikawa, yoshikawa, and hori aren't as important in the story, their relationship arcs are nonexistent.
it'll make more sense as you read.
it might contain spoilers for the series (especially if you haven't watched it) and i probably won't get all the small details right, so please bear with me on that too.
