"Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved."
-William Jennings BryanY/n woke up in cold sweat breathing heavily as she gazed at the clock on the wall in front of her. 7.21am. She rubbed her eyes as she laid back down.
She stared at the ceiling thinking about waking up or staying in bed more. 'Another nightmare for one night, jesus' she thought as she turned to her side, facing the couch.
She saw techno's arm hanging from the side of the couch as he was still asleep. Y/n closed her eyes for a few seconds before getting up to go to the kitchen.
She was wearing a white oversized t-shirt which reached her knees, as well as sleeping shorts and dinosaur socks. She poured herself a glass of water and drank it slowly as she looked at the lightly lit sky.
She walked upstairs to the bathroom and washed her teeth, trying to wake up a bit more. She then walked back down and looked at techno who was still sleeping peacefully on the couch.
Y/n made her way to the kitchen and opened the fridge. She took out some eggs and milk. Then she walked to the cabinet in which the flour was.
She made the crepe batter into a big bowl and got out a frying pan. She then turned on the heat and started cooking.
'Morning' a voice behind her said which made her turn around quickly.
'Morning techno' she said as she turned around to flip another crepe. 'Breakfast is almost done'.
'It smells good' he said as he left the room.

'Take a jacket' techno said as he looked at y/n.
'Why? No' she looked him straight in the eyes.
'Because later it could get cold' he said as he tied his sneakers.
'I am wearing a sweater i'll be fine' she said as she stood behind him.
'If I see you shivering however, expect an 'I told you' from me' he said as he opened the door.
'You wish' she quickly said as they walked down the steps on the porch.
Techno had asked y/n if she wanted to go to a nearby art gallery during breakfast, to which she agreed. They began their walk as y/n walked behind techno as she didn't know the place that well yet.
'Do you have a lot of museums here?' Y/n asked.
'I wouldn't say a lot, more like a decent amount' techno said as he glanced behind him looking at y/n.
'Are there many history ones?' She asked again.
'A few, yes' he said slowing his steps so he can walk beside her.
'If we have time we can go to one maybe' she suggested and moved her eyes to him.
'We could' he replied, 'although the more interesting exhibits are in the UK'.
'I could be your guide there' she said as she was halfway zoned out and halfway listening.
'Oh' he said almost surprised, 'do you live there?'
'Yeah I study there' she replied shortly.
Techno hummed in response as he kept on walking forward. It was a silent walk, but not an awkward silence for sure. Awkward silence was when both sides are willing to say something, but can't put up the words.
The silence between y/n and techno was much more comfortable as they just admired the silence not wanting to ruin it.
'We're here' techno said as he took y/n out of her daydream.
