"Hey you two, where have you been?" A voice we don't recognise calls out. The voice is another guard calling out to us.
"Just checking the perimeter" Gally answers sounding confident.
"Ok" the guard nods "You two should head out and guard the entrance to building" the guard says to us. "Max, Branden go with them" the guard motions to two other guards with him.
Gally and I share a terrified look before we walk with these to actual WCKD guards out of the parking lot.
Being a WCKD guard is actually pretty easy. The four of us just stood around an outside pool in the crisp night air. We should be fine as long as we don't run into Thomas, Newt and Minho.
*SPLASH!* a loud splash comes from the pool as a gas tank and glass sinks to the bottom. We all look at each other than up to the building to see a large broken window and three boys, two in WCKD uniform with their helmets off and the other in a navy blue shirt. "They are going to jump" Max says.
Gally and I look at each other. We know exactly who those three boys are.
"Oh shit" I whisper to Gally. "Just follow my lead ok" Gally whispers back.
