I run through the WCKD building with a gun in my hand. I call out Thomas's name but there's no response.
I'm about to turn the corner when I hear a gun shot. I stay hidden but I poke my head around the corner so I can see what's happening. Thomas is standing there and Ava Paige is lying dead on the floor but Thomas isn't holding a gun. Janson is though and it's pointed at Thomas.
No one is saying anything and I just hide behind the corner. Janson gets close to Thomas but instead of shooting him he has something in his other hand. It looks like a tranquilliser. He moves fast and stabs the tranquilliser into Thomas's neck. Sure enough Thomas falls quickly to the floor.
"Oh Thomas" Janson clucks his tongue still holding the gun at Thomas. "You should've run" he says to him.
