I turn to face him, as a signal for him to deliver his curiosity.
"Are you ready for the wedding?"
------------------------------------
Mina's POV
I give away the 'i-don't-understand-what-you-mean' to Moonbin, earning another rephrased question.
"I mean, are you ready for the whole marriage? The responsibility, the hardships and you know, the typical marriage path." Moonbin waits patiently for my answer as he leans again the kitchen wall.
"Moonbin, I don't-"
"Binnie, call me Binnie." He cuts off, a reassuring smile accompanies his statement.
I nod to his demand before picking up where I left. There is nothing but the feeling of comfortable to speak about my worries since I consider him as a friend.
"The truth is, I am not sure if I am doing the right decision. I mean, being married as a high schooler won't give away good assumptions to people. It also adds up when I am not sure if I am able to carry the obvious responsibilities."
My head hung low, feeling absorbed to the fact that I see myself as an inexperienced person, trying to be good enough.
"If Eunwoo knows you are not ready, he wouldn't urge you to be his wife. Both of you have decided on what's best for you two. Why are you so bewildered?" He questions in a visible curiosity.
"Unless, he didn't ask for your opinion first?" He adds, as an immediate reaction, I look over to him, giving away the obvious answer.
"He didn't, I assume." A smile flashes across his face, as the sign of victory due to the exact prediction he concluded.
"Do you think I should have put my thoughts into consideration, too?" I pop a question, earning a chuckle from Moonbin.
"Is that even a question? Of course, you should." Moonbin's remark leaves me dumbfounded.
"It's too late for me to ask him for a discussion. Maybe it's for the best, you know what they say, sometimes unexpected path takes you to beautiful places. Not to forget, I saved the best dress for tonight so it will be a shame to put it to waste." I proclaim in order to calm my flaming confusion.
Turning to the sink, I continue where I left off with the dishes when the water hits the plate in my grasp a little too rough, causing a pool of soapy water to form on the floor.
"Oh, your dress." Moonbin gives a hand by lifting the bottom part of my dress to avoid it becomes soaking wet.
"Thank you." I said to him, thanking him for his thoughtful act.
Breaking the peaceful atmosphere, I hear a man groan so I turn to look behind me, and what I see leaves nothing but electric shock to me.
Eunwoo is death glaring his own bestfriend, Moonbin while his veiny hand takes a handful of the collar, ready to go into a full berserk.
"Poisoning my soon to be bride's mind, I see?!"
------------------------------------
Mercilessly, Eunwoo drags Moonbin to the living room as he winces in pain, begging Eunwoo to let go.
I place a tight grip on Eunwoo's arm, with a questioning look, seeking for a reasonable explanation behind his ridiculous acts.
