Moonbin's POV

"You said the other day, you were busy. Is it something to do with your job?"

She breaks the silence after a few minutes of silence as we enjoy our drinks.

"I'm working on my group's comeback. This time it is a bit harder, I can say." I reply and an amused expression from her followed after.

"You are an idol too? Holy shit. Oops, mianhae." She chuckles.

I can sense my heartbeat picking up on a fast pace as she chuckles while her fingers riddling with a strand of her hair which was curling down, right in front of her left eye.

It is a view I would never get tired of.

"Yeah, you better search me up on Google. I have better ranking from west idols, you know." I smile with a dash of smug on my face only to be returned with a snort from her.

"If you have 'that' good ranking, I would've known you."

I put on the 'you hurt my feelings' before taking a slow sip on my drink and noticed a notification on her phone.

"Where are you? I miss you." The text displayed on the screen didn't catch her attention but it surely catched mine.

A rush of emotions flow within me. Some of the feelings are the ones I shouldn't be having as I'm in no place to feel that way.

Betrayal, anger, jealousy, heartbroken and the world crashing on me.

"Your phone has um- a text." I hesitately signaling her phone and after a few tries, I catch her attention.

"Never mind, don't bother. I'm going to go see him anyways when I get home." She replies, short and firm.

"You live with him?" I ask with a slight of surprise.

"Family crisis. Please don't judge." She looks at me with a pleading expression plastered across her face.

I nod nonchalantly even though my heart is beating due to the mixed emotions I felt because of a stupid text. My mind has been playing a series of imagine on me just ditching her right at this moment as I already know my chance is below negative. But, my mother raised me to a man who respects a lady.

"I have a practice in an hour so gotta be running right now." I control my emotions not to be obvious or in a snap of a finger, my reason can be revealed.

"Oh, alright then. Do you want me to walk you to your company?" She offers out of the blue.

"No, it is okay. Maybe next time." I smile before getting up to pick my stuff up.

I hold out a hand to shake hands but it isn't something she used to. She pulls me into a hug before whispering a few words to me.

"Fighting! Don't forget me when you are famous." Her little giggles echo to my ears, hitting me at the softest part of my heart.

I watch her as her figure walks out of the coffee store, giving out a last wave before walking off happily like a little girl who just got her unicorn.

I push my hair back, letting out a heavy sigh as my eyes glued to the purplish sky because the sun is getting real low now. A day with her feels like a minute. I didn't realize how deep I already fell for her and she was too blinded to see everything.

Maybe I should've said something?
