Myun Na's POV
"Thanks again. I bet you miss your daily routine huh?"
I ask with a sarcastic tone. Eunwoo is busy on his phone typing whatever he is up to.
He looks up to me with a raised eyebrow, maybe questioning what is it with my tone. He eyed me up and down.
"Aren't we are like friends? That's what friends do."
I blink my eyes a few times, acting like a cute person. But then realizing tat Eunwoo's stare starts to change into a death glare.
Gosh, why is he so serious?
"Unless you never had one. I mean a friend."
I throw my gaze to the white wall because I start to feel embarrassed and awkward with his expressionless face. It's like I am a dad-joker over here.
"Never really had a friend. Acquaintance to be specific. I guess I have one now."
He answered with a lazy tone but still staring at me. His eyes send chills up to my spine as his gaze diving deep into my heart.
His eyes. Whenever I look into them, I tend to lose my thoughts.
They are beautiful. I believe one thing my mom used to tell me.A man's eyes are the mirror of his soul.
Eunwoo's eyes were like speaking the truth when everything in my life is a lie.
I snap back to reality when I hear the creaking of the door. It is the doctor who gave me treatment on the days that I spent here.
"Hello, Myun Na. I hope you are feeling better. I just signed the form of the permission of going home. So, please eat the medication that I scheduled for you."
I nod hesitatingly as he smiles towards Eunwoo which then returning the brightest smile back.
How I wish the smile is for me.
His goddess smile drives me crazy.
I pinch my own arm as I was drifting away again by the perfection carved on Eunwoo's face. He's dangerous for a daydreamer like me.
I slowly land my feet on the cold floor surface. One of my arm supports me by holding onto the bed's metal side.
Eunwoo walks up to me while fixing the sling bag on his shoulder that fits some clothes that he gave me to wear. He hands out an arm for me to hold on so that I can walk easily.
I give him the 'thank you' look before clinging onto his arm.
••••••••••••••••••••••
"So where do you live? I can send you there."
I was startled by Eunwoo's question because in my mind I am willing to anywhere except that burning hell.
"Umm, I live on the Gyeong Ju street. You can send me there.."
I stare out the window, trying to cover the unexplainable expression I put on. If Eunwoo realizes it, he will think something is going on in my life, which is a bitter truth.
