Eunwoo's POV

"Mina!! Wake up!" I yell at the top of my lungs but the wooden door seems to muffle my voice because I don't hear any response from Mina.

I knock violently on the door, hoping she will wake up. But still, after minutes of yelling, no response from the sleepyhead in her room.

I might just knock this door down.

Okay, so she is not answering and I have a backup plan for this situation. I find the key that I took from the drawer in my back pocket and slip it out after I feel the metal cold hitting my fingertips.

"I have to do this, you might be dead in there." I whisper slowly while I try to unlock the door.

After a few attempts, I finally get in and there she is, sleeping soundly on the floor with her hair covers up most of her face. Her hands hanging at the edge of the bed, like she is about to fall down in any second.

"Hey, Mina. Wake up!" I touch her arm and it is so cold like she just had a three hours ice bath. Her aircond temperature is too low so that's why she is ice cold.

"What are you doing in my room?" She asks while fixing her hair and her eyes still closed.

"Well, I yelled at the top of my lungs and awoken already half of the neighborhood except for you." I sarcastically answer her question.

"I can't sleep last night. Sorry." She mutters but I hear it so clearly until I feel guilty for awakening her. I stare at her messy looks but still managed to pull off a cute face.

"Go get a warm shower. My mom will be here in one hour." I pop out the main purpose I barged into her room.

"Oh fuck. Why didn't you tell me earlier?" She leaps off the bed, almost trips herself before vanish into the bathroom.

"Language, young lady!" I scream at her but I don't think she hears it as I hear the shower water hits the floor.

If I knew that would work, I can pull off the trick everyday.

Mina's POV

"What are you preparing?" I pop out the question as soon as I see Eunwoo putting his apron on. The cute apron with flowers on it is tied neatly behind his back.

The apron makes him look... adorable.

"Spicy rice cake and sausages. I know you love the sausages." He replies with a serious look but still, I can't ignore the fact that he remembers my favorites.

"Do you want me to help you with anything?" I offer.

"Yes but not in the kitchen. You can burn my apartment down for God's sake so go clean the living room and prepare the table." Eunwoo commands me like I'm the sailor and he is the captain on a ship.

Well, it's his ship after all.

I walk to the living room and start to pick up tissues and pillows on the floor because last night we watched a few sad movies so our tear ductus exploded. I arrange all the pillows neatly on the sofa before my eyes stuck at the framed pictures, arranged on the mantel.

Most of the pictures contain Astro members and a few guys that I've never met or seen. The pictures were arranged like a path to the last picture of a happy family of Eunwoo's. He was about twelve maybe with a bright smile plastered on that porcelain doll like face. It's kinda hard to see that kind of smile again from him these days.

Sometimes, smiles are wider and brighter during the good old days.

Almost all the framed pictures with him in it have a bright smile of him, creating sweet nostalgic moment of how perfect his childhood might be. At least, better than mine.

"Hey. You okay?" Eunwoo's voice catches my attention as he approaches me. But I turn my face back to the frame pictures because I love to see how happy someone's life is in the old days while I can create an imaginary childhood without flaws.

"Nah, I can see how happy you were in those pictures. I didn't get to feel a special moment, taking pictures and place it on a table so I can reminisce again every second. You had the chance to do so." I reply back, bitter for me to let those words out but it seems that I can't control what my heart desires the most.

"I am sorry. Hey, who knows one day you will get the chance to do so?" Eunwoo's convincingly tells me so that I don't feel bad about my life journey.

I am about to say something but the ringing doorbell catches our attention. I look back at him before both of us walk towards the door. Within that, I fix my hair trying to make myself look more presentable than normal days.

"Woah! it's my mom, not Queen Elizabeth." Eunwoo walks to me before reaching the door knob.

As the door opens wide, I see Eunwoo's mom looking more beautiful that I will ever be and her appearance doesn't really tell her exact age. Beauty really runs in the family as people said.

"Oh, this is your housemate? I thought she was a man." Eunwoo's mom greets me with a bright smile before I bow a little, not to be rude.

"She's pretty. Lucky you to have a girlfriend like her." Eunwoo's mom statement shocked the hell out of me. I need to get out from this misunderstanding, lucky me Eunwoo has always got my back.

"Omma, this is my housemate not my girlfriend. Please don't start it." Eunwoo chuckles nervously as his mom who was checking the house decorations turns back to us, giving an unexplainable glare.

Well, if it's for me, of course I would assume the same thing. A woman and a man in one house, what else could it be others than a married couple? Friends? No one would believe in an obvious lie.

Eunwoo's POV

"So how's your life been going other than taking a full responsibility on this young lady?" My omma glanced at Mina who is preparing for lunch.

"Good, omma. Very good. Plus, she needed a place to stay as family conflicts started to burden her. She is a really good company." I calmly tell her not to trigger any danger buttons in my omma's head.

"Honey, I am not mad if you're dating her, I can tell when you are into someone so stop feeding me these lies, Lee Dongmin." My omma half whisper to me as I lean against the sofa to ease the tense in my body.

"Omma, it's true. We are not dating. Don't jump into conclusions." I strictly deny her misunderstanding, I guess. Is it a misunderstanding? My mom knows me better than I know myself.

"By the way you look at her, sooner or later you will fall in love with her, trust omma." My omma smirks at me before getting up, walking towards Mina who is fixing her appearance in front of the mirror.

Omma, please don't say something crazy. Maybe bringing her here wasn't the brilliant idea after all.
