Chapter 40

I look into his eyes, seeking for comfort.

"Eunwoo is not that type of a man, I know him. But if he doesn't want to do so, we will instead."

Eunwoo's POV

My attention keeps averting themselves towards Sanha at the passenger seat. I tried so hard to change his mind on meeting the members but it doesn't seem to work.

I focus on the familiar road that I use everyday to go home but in this very moment, it doesn't feel like I'm driving home.

Just the thoughts of having a confrontation with the boys already give me second thoughts and preview of the consequences that might occur.

After thirty minutes of driving, we finally pull up at the gate of the building I live in.

Used to live in , to be accurate.

"Hyung, do I look okay?"

Sanha asks, still perfecting his shirt. This boy tries hard to look presentable and made serious effort once he knew he would have an encounter with the others.

"You asked me a thousand times today, Sanha. And yes, you look more than just okay."

He smiles in triumph when I complimented him but then, the smile slowly changes to a nervous one when I gesture him to come out of the car.

After getting on the elevator, we finally stand in front of my door. Trying to masquerade my anger, I give Sanha a smile before knocking on the door.

It took five minutes before the door creaks open, revealing Rocky in casual clothes.

Great, now she is hanging out with all of the boys. As if one boy hasn't caused a total chaos.

"Oh my god."

Rocky's jaw drop as his gaze scan the tall figure that stands before him, his piercing eyes show that his mind is processing every thought that runs.

"Rocky hyung. It's me."

I watch both of them having a staring contest against each other in defeat. But what surprises me, instead of hugging him, Rocky places a firm grasp on his arm and drags him inside which made me drop dead curious and follow them.

"I told you I am not hallucinating!"

Rocky's full of excitement shout manages to catch everyone's attention. Due to not believing their eyes, all of the members stare at Sanha in shock as Sanha looks over to me, asking me to step in.

As I was walking over to Sanha, my tracks stop instantly when my gaze catches the petite figure of the woman I have been longing for all the time that I disappear.

Her hair falls perfectly to the side of her shoulders, only they weren't as shiny as it used to be. The prominent cheekbones start to give a different feature to her once glowing face. Her skin looks dull as dark circles shadow her honey brown eyes. She looks lifeless but still, my attention was always averted to her.
