I smile to the statement, thinking about the truth the statement holds.
"And I would do the same, but Binnie, how can I prove that to her when I have showed that I am nothing but the man who pulls the trigger?"

"You're sure you don't want me to come with you?"
I politely shake my head to the offer Ji Chul gave but this time, I really need to stand up for myself. This is what I wanted, dragging someone else to the situation doesn't help much.
"Just pick me up when I'm done."
A faint 'okay' was heard from the kitchen as I head towards the front door, to put on some shoes. Ji Chul will be dropping me off at the coffee shop that me and Eunwoo agreed to have a meet up when I phoned him a few days ago.
After getting into the car, Ji Chul steps on the gas as I watch the house disappears from my sight. A huge sigh follows after when I think about what would happen if I tell Eunwoo.
I guess we just have to take the risk.

No glimpse of Eunwoo's figure at the coffee shop but my heart still stands still, refusing to encourage me in executing my plan.
"Do I look okay?"
Ji Chul grins, shaking his head as he finds something worth smiling for and I'm dying of curiosity to find out what makes him smile.
"You said you wanted to get off the radar with him yet, you are still worried about how you look if he sees you?" Ji Chul's sarcastic question hits quite a spot in me.
It's hard to deny the shame I had in me when Ji Chul notices the still existent feelings that roam freely in the same time I am trying to erase it.
"Just making sure I look presentable."
I thank him before getting off the car, taking heavy breaths one by one as a preparation to get everything over with. I couldn't live another day with the guilt I've been struggling with.
Sitting at one of the tables in the shop, my eyes scan the whole space before a tall man that I still can't get over his charms approaches me.
"Am I late?" Eunwoo politely asks me and all I can give him is a headshake.
"Do you want anything-"
I cut him off with a single no, causing him to stumble upon his words.
"Let's cut to the chase. I am getting married, I would like you to be there. And of course, the others too."
Nothing is more heartbreaking than seeing his whole world collapses in the very moment as I watch his eyes quivering in denial.
"With who?" An awkward chuckle cuts the silence between us as my eyes still glued to his face.
"You know who." Sounding like a villain in some messed up fairytale, I silently enjoy the courage I had to mess Eunwoo up.
