Hi! This is my new book. I hope that you liked the previous one! Well, you must have because why else would you be here? Any way, the scene is that the final battle happened months ago. A new nation has been found, but there isn't much information about them. Except for that they are the enemy.
The war was far behind them. Warspite was great full for that. But there was another nation out there. About two times the distance of the I.S. Warspite had to keep that in mind. She was at the tree, looking out into the ocean.
It was early morning. Some ships were on commissions to gather resources. Resources that would be needed in the war that was bound to happen soon. Even though they only came out of one a few months ago, war in Azur Lane never stopped. But neither would the Eagle Union.
Soon, Warspite could see some of the commission ships coming back from their commission. Laffey, Unicorn and Javelin. All the ships that if had high enough levels could get the nation a ship from the memento rewards were sent on commissions.
Warspite hopped from the tree and approached them.
'Your levels high enough?' Warspite asked them.
'Yep!' Javelin responded with her head bobbing up and down enthusiastically.
'Well, go over to the limit breaker to get your stars high enough.' Warspite said and the three ships started for the limit breaker.
To claim a memento reward, a ship would need to attend the memento house. Once certain ships were high enough star levels, the ship could click the 'Collect' button and the reward would be given.
The reward for the three starters (since Z23 kind of died in that fight) was the ship 'Ayanami'.
Over the time of the war, the nation had constructed items like walkie talkies. They basically made it so that ships could communicate to each other.
Warspite had to hold an exercising battle, she called Lights to get the reward and send her over to the other three starter ships. Of which he did.
Warspite was holding the exercising battle. And, by 'holding' I mean 'participate and absolutely destroy all of the other ships that wanted to compete but would loose because they weren't really strong enough.'
The purpose of the exercising battles was simply to give ships real ship battles against one another and to give them experience. Preparation for the war.
Lights made his way over to the reward gaining house. He saw that the three other ships had limit broke so now they all had 5 stars. The 'Gain Reward' button lit up. Lights moved over to the button and pressed it.
After Warspite finished the battle exercises, she sent some ships off to scout the area, so they had a definite place of where the enemy nation was. They couldn't take any risks and they needed to be sure they were at least one step ahead of the mysterious enemy.
Warspite wandered around the docks, not really having much to do, or any where to be. The war at this point was to wait to see who makes the first move. And Warspite didn't was to have that honour.
Warspite knew that she had to construct the fleets. She had to be prepared for combat. She decided that the first fleet would be: Warspite, Foxhound, Montpelier, Portland, Kaga and Akagi. All 6 of these ships were at least level 110.
A second fleet would be needed though, because if there was trouble out on the battle field, there needed to be another fleet that could come in and help with the situation. Warspite figured that they could be Javelin, Laffey, Ayanami, Unicorn, Essex, and South Dakota.
Just knowing that she had fleets in mind calmed Warspite a bit. She had been on edge since she end of the last war. Although the last fleet would need a lot of levelling, all except Ayanami were at least level 70.
It was near a cliffs edge. It had a clear view of the ocean though and that was wanted. Trees were sort of in a semi circle shape around them. The breeze was calming and when ever they were there, it seemed like the war wasn't actually happening.
This was the place where Laffey, Javelin and Unicorn were when every they didn't need to be anywhere. It had the same feeling for them as Warspite with her tree. Calm. Javelin was talking away about something that Laffey didn't take into consideration, although it seemed like she was only talking to Unicorn.
It was near sunset and the three of them were looking out into the sea. Well, at least Laffey was.
'I swear, it was.' Javelin said. Laffey hadn't been paying attention, so she had no idea what the two of them were talking about.
'Doesn't seem very believable.' Unicorn responded. Like with Warspite's spot with the tree, this place wasn't in the docks, so when the rule of all the ships not being able to leave the docks or sea was in place, the three ships needed to sneak out to get there.
Laffey always thought that Javelin had too much energy. She was always talking and forever upbeat. Unicorn was more shy and rarely told anyone how she felt. Laffey was sort of in between the two of them.
Laffey liked it just being those three, and it was nice handing out with them. She didn't want things to change. But, in life everything needed to change. And it did.
Warspite looked out to the afternoon sun that was starting to sink behind the horizon. It was beautiful and she was always in the tree at this time. At least, she used to. Before she was the commander of the Eagle Union, that was joined by the three nations.
She always had something to do, or somewhere to be, so when she did she didn't know what to do in the free time. And as she looked out to the sinking sun, she remembered how things were, during the war. Before the big battle.
She remembered sitting in the tree, thinking about everything. Having an innocent life in a not so innocent world. A world of battle and bloodshed.
As she looked out to the sinking sun, for the first time in months, she wasn't relaxed. She was afraid.
A/N Thanks for reading! This chapter and the next few won't be done as well as I hoped they would, because I've only thought of the later parts of the story. Feel free to comment suggestions and if you like this new book so far!

FanfictionI don't own Azur Lane or any of the characters. Lights is mine though. Ok, so this is part 2 to A War With Warspite, and this won't make too much sense unless if you read the first one. Ayanami is sort of the second main character here. There is a...
