This and the previous chapter pictures are definitely my favourites. Hi! This is just a filler chapter and I have no idea how long it's going to be. Thanks for the infinite support over on my other story that just hit 500 views! That's amazing to me because the other story (my very first one) only has 40 views. The other news is that I'm planning on doing a rap video over on my channel. I don't have the lyrics or anything, but I seriously want it to happen! Remember to vote and comment!

Ayanami knew they wouldn't be coming back. When Crescent and Cygnet went off to the enemies island, she knew that was the last time she was going to see them. She sighed.
'Well, on that note, you need to get back training. The war is going into final stages soon.' Montpelier stated. Ayanami nodded. She knew that as long as every ship was training for 90% of the day, then they would have a chance.
The enemy wasn't intimidating because of their weapons or powerful ships. It was their numbers. The Eagle Union had about 300-400 ships. The enemies number was unknown. She started for the training centre.
Training was extremely intense. You had to be swinging, loading or firing the whole time. Once Ayanami's training was over, she headed to the cliff side. There was no-one there, but she didn't expect there to be. She wasn't sure she wanted there to be.
What was happening right now was just so much to her. Too much. But she didn't know their exact move. Nobody did. That was the scary thing. The unknown that was against them. Ayanami knew that her stat number was 548. From the performance of the enemy ships, she estimated their stat number to be about 600.
(P.S I just sneezed twice so hard that now my stomach hurts. Comment #SneakyChilli'sstomachgetbetter.)
Ayanami heard rustling behind her and turned around to see Javelin.
'Hi!' She said happily and sat down next to her.
'Hey.' Ayanami responded.
'So, why are you here?' She asked.
'Well, I finished my training and needed to rest for a bit.' She responded.
'What's your level?' Javelin asked.
'Around 100.' Ayanami responded. There was a few moments of silence. Ayanami could tell Javelin was thinking hard about what to say. She didn't mind the quiet.
'You think Crescent and Cygnet will be back soon?' Javelin asked.
'You think they will come back?' Ayanami questioned. Javelin nodded.
'Yeah. You don't?' She asked. Ayanami thought for a moment.
'No, I don't think so.' She responded.
'Why not?' Javelin asked, looking over to her.
'Well, the amount of enemies there were at the island was frightening.' Ayanami responded.
'Well, I think you need to have more faith in them. And not just them. In all of us.' Javelin said.
'What do you mean by that?' Ayanami questioned.
'I mean, you think things are over before they begin. You don't know the strengths of the one's around you.' Javelin continued. Ayanami thought about it for a moment.
'How did you come to that conclusion?' She asked. Javelin smiled.
'Well, I did. I did have faith in me and the one's around me.' She responded. There was silence again.
'Do you really believe that? Truthfully?' Ayanami asked her. Javelin nodded.
'Why?'
'It's just.' Ayanami trailed off for a second. She took a deep breath and started again. 'If you could have a world with just piece, no fighting, would you take it?' She asked. Javelin thought about it for a second.
'No, I wouldn't.' She responded.
'Why not?' Ayanami questioned. Javelin thought for a moment for a response.
'It's like this: asking someone a question that was solely based on them, but effects everyone is really hard. If you make the wrong choice, then you're going to be the one they blame. So, if I ever make a decision like that, I'll do what I think everyone else would want.' Javelin explained.
Ayanami paused for a moment. She didn't think she would get that response from someone like Javelin.
'Where'd you get that question?' Javelin asked.
'When I was on the attack team, I met the leader of the enemy nation. He talked about a world without battle. Without violence. Without war. It seemed like he tried to convince me of something. But I don't know what it is.' Ayanami explained.
Javelin nodded a few times.
'And you think if you talk to people about it, you'll know what he meant. Wait, he? As in he's a boy?' Javelin realised.
'Yep. I was stunned to when I saw him.' Ayanami responded.
'Well, I think you're doing the right thing.' Javelin summed up. Ayanami smiled and nodded.
'But, I have another question.' Javelin said. Ayanami nodded again, her face growing serious. 'What do you think it would achieve, knowing what he meant?' She asked.
'Because if I did, then we might know what they want to do. It could help with something like that.' Ayanami explained. Javelin nodded.
The dinner bell rang and soon, every ship as in the dinner hall. Lights stood up in front of them.
'Attention! I have news about our plan!' He called out. All the ship's attention turned to him. 'We will officially attack in a weeks time. Every single ship will participate.' Lights explained. Ayanami was glad they had their attack plan under control. But Lights said that the finer details about the plan were still unknown.
'To work together, we can't lie. If we don't lie, we can trust each other. If we trust each other, we win!' Lights called out. All the ships cheered. The war... was on.
A/N Hi guys! Hope you like this chapter! I began it without knowing what to do and I just winged it and I would say it turned out really well. I got out what I wanted to. I used another one of the quotes I had prepared. Comment what you think it is. Remember to vote and comment as it means a lot to me. I'm trying really hard to publish in a schedule and it's proven a challenge! Bye!

A War With Warspite Part 2 (Including Ayanami)
FanfictionI don't own Azur Lane or any of the characters. Lights is mine though. Ok, so this is part 2 to A War With Warspite, and this won't make too much sense unless if you read the first one. Ayanami is sort of the second main character here. There is a...
