This is it guys! The final battle! I've planned out somethings but I think these next two chapters will be great ones! Either this one or the next one is going to be small, but then I'm writing another chapter and then the third book! Remember to vote and comment! But, just letting you know, this battle, doesn't have the happiest ending...
Ayanami was up early. She always was. But today was the day. The big battle. Ayanami was out on the docks. Lot's of ships were around. They were just waiting for Lights to come and tell them all to go to the battle.
Ayanami found Montpelier in the crowd.
'Morning.' Montpelier said. Ayanami nodded.
'You to.'
'How long do you think we need to wait?' Montpelier asked. Ayanami pointed to the front of the crowd. Lights had just stepped up in front of everyone.
'Today is the day! Not only do we eliminate the enemy nation, but we get Warspite back!' He called out. All the ships cheered. Lights continued on by saying parts of the battle plan. But, it wasn't anything that Ayanami didn't already know. Then, they headed off.
They crossed the seas to the enemy nation. Ayanami was just hopping that they could get Warspite back. If they did, but didn't kill the enemy nation, Ayanami would feel fine about that. Hours passed.
They were approximately about an hour away from the nation when Foxhound approached her.
'Hey.' Ayanami said. Foxhound nodded.
'Look, you need to try your hardest.' She said.
'I am aware of that.' Ayanami responded.
'But you also need to make it out alive.' She said. Ayanami looked over to her.
'Whys that?' She asked.
'Because what if something like this happens again? We'll need you to help us.' Foxhound said. Ayanami thought about it for a moment. She knew Foxhound had a point.
'Look, if the battle isn't going well, then just call on me, or Lights or Portland. We can help you.' She said. Ayanami paused for a moment.
'But Warspite is the strongest ship here. It won't be easy.' She responded. Foxhound nodded.
'Your right, it won't.' She then drifted away. Montpelier then approached her.
'What was that about?' She asked.
'She just wants me to make it out alive.' Ayanami said. Montpelier nodded. There was silence for a few moments.
'Well, I do too.' She said. Ayanami nodded and then Montpelier drifted away from her. Ayanami knew she had to make it back. But the thing was, Warspite knew about the reviving machine. If she killed her, then she would probably continue to hit her, until she had around -1000 health. Then what?
She didn't have too much time to think about it though, because they were soon there.
To everyone's surprise, there were already enemy ships out there. Ayanami knew that as soon as she saw them, Ventry had expected their arrival. She knew that battle was minutes away. She quickly scanned the group out front.
She couldn't see Warspite.
Ayanami figured figured that there were still a bunch of ships back in the island, because there weren't many to begin with out there. When the Eagle Union saw the opposing ships, they stopped. They didn't expect them to be there.
There hope of starting out with more land than the enemy nation had fell apart. The enemy nation didn't do much either. Until one of the ships stepped forwards. They pointed something up to the sky. A flare appeared.
Within a few minutes, more ships poured out from the island. Ayanami still couldn't see Warspite, so she must be near the back. But it was hard to see when all the ships from the Eagle Union rushed in to battle.
Ayanami decided to join them. She couldn't see Warspite when the crowd thinned out either, so she just attacked random ships.
Soon, she helped out Montpelier, who was attacked by two ships at once.
'Please tell me Warspite isn't out yet.' She said.
'Do you mean they want to tire me out before taking on Warspite?' Ayanami asked. Montpelier nodded. Ayanami paused for a moment. She hadn't thought about that.
'I'm going to find Denver.' She said. Montpelier nodded. Ayanami zoomed off. She looked around everywhere. She couldn't see Denver. But, an enemy ship launched at her.
Ayanami took a step back before swinging her sword. She force knocked the ship back. Three swings later and Ayanami moved on. Denver had to be fighting near the front of the crowd because Ayanami couldn't see her anywhere.
She started going to the front of the crowd. When she was making her way there, she saw Denver's head in the crowd. Ayanami moved towards it. She broke through two ships battling and was next to her.
'Hi Ayanami.' She said when she saw her. Ayanami nodded.
'Why are you here?' She asked.
'I figured Warspite would come out later. So, I got to the front so I knew when she came.' She paused for a second. 'Speaking of which.' She said, looking over to the island.
Ayanami followed her gaze. Her heart skipped a beat. It might not be her. No, the golden hair, huge sword. It was Warspite. Ayanami saw Ventry with her. Ayanami and Denver stepped in front of the crowd.
Ventry nodded to Warspite. She looked forwards and started for Ayanami. Each of her steps seemed to take an eternity. But, she finally got around 30 feet in front of Ayanami and Denver. She looked Ayanami dead in the eyes.
'Ayanami,' she started. 'This time, you die.'

A War With Warspite Part 2 (Including Ayanami)
FanfictionI don't own Azur Lane or any of the characters. Lights is mine though. Ok, so this is part 2 to A War With Warspite, and this won't make too much sense unless if you read the first one. Ayanami is sort of the second main character here. There is a...
