Hi guys! I hope that Ayanami doesn't seem like the main character now. I'm trying to make Warspite more and more in the story, but Ayanami just seems more important now. But, I do want to say that I am going to write, 'A War With Warspite 3'. Just letting you know. Anyway, I'm running out of ideas, the next chapter might be the final battle. Well, the beginning of it. Anyway, don't forget to comment and vote!

The next day.
Today, Ayanami had a clear goal. She would be level 120 at the end of the day. She began training soon, so she could accomplish that goal. As always, Montpelier came to her when she was.
'You reaching your goal today?' She asked. Ayanami nodded. She was almost level 119. If she kept working hard she should be able to get to her goal. The two of them talked for a bit before-
'You know, more ships have been reporting that they've seen Warspite. It's weird. But then again, expected. If they do whip enough of us out before the fight then...' Montpelier stated.
'Well, we just need to work harder. How many ships do you think we still have?' Ayanami asked. Montpelier thought for a moment.
'Well, we had about 300 before these attacks, and 48 have been killed. So, I'd say around 250.' Montpelier said. That wouldn't be enough. Ayanami knew that.
'Do you know if Denver has been training?' Ayanami asked. Montpelier nodded.
'She figured there were enough ships working in the research centre, so she said she's going to be training for as long as possible.' Montpelier explained. Ayanami nodded. They needed to kill her, and then revive her for the hypnotisms effects to wear off.
Ayanami stopped swinging her sword.
'What do you think would happen if me and Denver can't take her out?' She asked.
'Well, I would probably need to help. I don't know. Maybe Lights would get in there.' Montpelier said. Ayanami paused for a moment.
'What about her sword?' She asked.
'Yeah, we still don't know what is up with that.' Montpelier said. Ayanami thought for a moment.
'I got it!' She exclaimed. Montpelier looked to her.
'See, when the attack team was there, her sword would have saved her. But it didn't. So, something must have happened. Or, the sword's power, has a time limit.' Ayanami explained.
Montpelier gave her a quizzical look. 'You think so?' She asked.
'Well, how else could it have happened?' Ayanami asked. Montpelier thought for a moment.
'Could it have been knocked out of her hand maybe?' She asked.
'She would have easily been able to get it back.' Ayanami replied.
'Ok, let's say your correct, how long where you talking to the commander of the enemy nation?' She asked. Ayanami thought back.
'It couldn't have been more than five minutes.' She answered.
'Can you dodge for that long?'
Ayanami told Lights about what she found out. He agreed with him and told her he would pass the information on to Denver. She levelled up to level 120 that afternoon. For the next few days, nothing interesting happened.
Before long, it was the day before the attack. Laffey was going to the cliffside. When she got there, she saw Javelin by herself. She walked up to her.
'Hey. Have you been training?' Laffey asked her.
'Yep.' Javelin responded, not looking over to Laffey.
'so, what level are you then?' She asked. Javelin paused for a moment.
'. . . well, remember the days when being level 70 was cool?' She asked.
'Ummm yeah?' Laffey said, obviously confused.
'What ever happened to them?' Javelin asked sheepishly.
'So, you haven't been training.' Laffey confirmed.
'Not a point.' Javelin responded. Laffey sighed.
'Well, you should go do that now.' She told her. Javelin sighed.
'Alright, alright.' She stood up and walked away. Laffey couldn't get the fact of how the big battle was going to start tomorrow. She was level 114. She hoped that was enough. Ayanami appeared and walked over to her.
'Hey.' She said.
'Hey.' Laffey also said.
'I just saw Javelin and she said you tole her to train.' Ayanami stated. Laffey nodded.
'She hasn't levelled up at all.' She stated. Ayanami looked a little surprised.
'What has she been doing in all that time?' She asked. They both laughed. Ayanami tried to not let the thought of how the battle was happening the very next day. They could all be very much destroyed in that battle. It's not like they had numbers on their side.
'Have you been thinking about the battle tomorrow?' Laffey asked.
'I can't get the thought out of my head.' She responded. Laffey nodded.
'Yeah. Me too.'
Ventry was where he always was. At the top of the tower. He knew that tomorrow was the day that they were going to get attacked. But with their weapon going around, doing all the work, he figured he only needed to take care of a few ships.
But, he still wasn't going to underestimate the enemy. That would be the first step to being destroyed. He knew that wasn't an option.
As long as Warspite was on their side, loosing would be difficult. They wouldn't want to hurt their friend.
When one of his ships walked by, he started to talk to him.
'You! Go put everyone on battle positions! We are being attacked tomorrow. I want everyone back and on patrol. Every battling ship ready and alert.' He commanded. The ship nodded and ran off. Everything was starting to fall into place.
Ventry knew that the enemy had no chance. Victory would be theirs. He would target the stronger ships first. Then, all the other ships that did almost nothing against him and his weapon would go.
Ventry did know how the Eagle Union had also befriended the Sakura Empire and the Dragon Empery. That wasn't important though. What was important how ever, would be winning. And that's exactly what he would be doing.
A/N Hi again! If you could tell, the next chapter is going to be the big battle! I have one more quote to use, But there are three other bits of speech that I planned to use. See if you can find them all! The first one can get a shout out. How's that? Remember to vote and comment! Bye!

FanfictionI don't own Azur Lane or any of the characters. Lights is mine though. Ok, so this is part 2 to A War With Warspite, and this won't make too much sense unless if you read the first one. Ayanami is sort of the second main character here. There is a...
