Secret Cupboard...

The next morning I woke up at six in the morning. Uncle Bruce was taking me shopping for school books.
I jumped out of bed and showered quickly to the sounds of Barlowgirl’s Superstar, and got dressed to Barlowgirl’s Clothes. Laughing at the lyrics I chose a pair of neon green shorts and a hot pink t-shirt. Bright orange flip-flops on my feet, I went to the kitchen in search of breakfast. Pulling the milk out of the fridge I stopped and looked at the inside carefully.
“JARVIS, where does Mr. Stark keep the potato chips in here?” I asked the AI unit.
“There is a secret cupboard in the back of the fridge where Mr. Stark keeps his secret stash.” The AI unit replied.
Reaching into the back of the fridge I inspected it till I found a small switch. A door popped open and there were the potato chips, along with several chocolate bars and other sorts of junk food. I giggled with glee as I closed it back up. I knew my uncle had made him get rid of all junk food when I had moved in. If Tony didn’t want his secret to slip out, he would behave himself around me and Thor from now on.
I giggled again as I poured myself some cereal and replaced the milk.
“What’s so funny Addie?” My uncle asked, walking into the kitchen. I shook my head and sat down at the table to eat.
“I will tell you later. Right now I want to eat so we can go shopping.” I said, bouncing in my chair excitedly.
“Shopping?” Tony asked in mock confusion, walking into the kitchen. “But I thought you were going to hang out with…”
I could see the devilish glint in his eyes and quickly intervened.
“Uncle Bruce! Did you know the fridge is bigger on the inside that it actually looks?” I shot Tony a huge grin and tried not to laugh as he jaw dropped in shock.
He flashed me a You-wouldn’t-dare-how-did-you-know look.
Watch-me-i-have-my-ways I looked back at him and grinned triumphantly as he stalked out of the kitchen, no doubt bothered by the point that he had been out maneuvered by a seventeen year old.
I looked away to see my uncle examining the fridge, and had to smother a giggle.
“I don’t think it is any bigger than it looks Addie.” He looked up at me slightly confused.
Twenty minutes later we were walking around a large book store. My uncle had a list of what we would need and gave it to one of the employees to find. We were now just looking around and getting other things like notebooks and pens and stuff like that.
“Uncle Bruce?” I asked, getting his attention. He turned and looked at me.
“If I am doing something that isn’t bad, but I know it will…. Um…. Raise your blood pressure. Do you want me to tell you or not tell you?” I shifted a few inches away from him, waiting for his reaction. He sighed heavily, and answered me.
“This is about a boy isn’t it?” He asked me.
I shrugged. “Kind of, I wouldn’t really call him a boy, exactly.” I said still uneasy, as I edged farther away from him.
He chuckled. “You are going to fall in love Adalynn. There is nothing I can do about that.” I relaxed and walked over to the erasers.
“But if Thor starts calling me Uncle Bruce I’m going to rearrange his pretty face.”
My head snapped around to him, my eyes wide with shock.
“How did you know!?” I gasped. He chuckled and mussed my hair before I could get away.
“You are as transparent as a window Adalynn.” He pulled me into a hug and I let out a sigh of relief.
When we got back to Stark Tower that afternoon, Thor was there waiting for me. I smiled up at him and raced across the living room to hug him. He returned my hug and I heard Uncle Bruce laugh at us. He set the bags of books down and came towards us.
“I don’t have a problem with this but if you hurt my niece Thor. There won’t be anywhere you can hide.” He looked Thor in the eyes, trying to be intimidating.
“I would never do anything to hurt her Dr. Banner.” Thor replied, pulling me close to his side. I smiled, this couldn’t have gone any better if I had done it any other way.
We stood there in silence for a few moments, when Tony popped into the room and shouted.
“Thor is dating your daughter!” and then dove behind the couch for cover. We looked at the couch in silence. Not laughing was the hard.
When Tony looked back over the couch Uncle Bruce raised his eye brows at him.
“Where have you been Stark? That is old news.”
Looking at the expression in Tony’s face, I burst into laughter.
