There were a lot of moments in the Flash team's history, which shook the whole team, since Ronnie's death for the second time, the discovery that their friend / boss was actually a villain, Flashpoint, the appearance of Killer Frost, among others .

But when they thought that the worst was over, something happened that affected the lives of all the members of the Flash team. And that event was the death of Caitlin and the taking over of her body by Killer Frost. After Killer Frost escaped the clutches of her friends and former team and while walking through the forest, she found someone. And that person was neither more nor less than Savitar.

- I've been waiting for you.- said Savitar.- Fear not, my child. I have came only to offer you what you disere.

- And what is that?

- Salvation!

- You want to cure me? Turning me back to Caitlin Snow ?!

- No, I want to make sure that Cailtin never returns.

- Why should I trust you? - asked Killer Frost and he then reveaked himself to be Barry Allen's time remnant.

- What do you need me to do? - asked Killer Frost.

It was at this very moment that the most dangerous duo that ever existed in the history of the Flash team was formed. After Savitar ordered Killer Frost to do a number of things, one of which was to kill Tracy Brand. While she was doing her job, she found her former team along the way, that is, the former Caitlin Snow team.

Of all the times that they met, Barry or Cisco tried to appeal to the humanity that could be inside Killer Frost, that is, they were trying to appeal to Caitlin, but that never worked, because Caitlin was too weak to get control again from your body. But it was when Savitar hold Killer Frost against a wall by her throat, that she thought twice about her future and the future of this duo.

- Any idea what to do with Flash and friends? Because we are pretty close to your big becoming and if we don't take them down, neither one of us gets what we want.- said Killer Frost, approaching the suit of Savitar. And Savitar just gets up and grabs her by the neck, leaning her against a wall.- What are you doing?

- Who are you?

- What's wrong with you?

- Who. AM.I ? - asked Savitar, letting go of Killer Frost's neck.

As soon as Killer Frost realized what was wrong with Savitar, she went to the only place where she knew she would find the help she was in need of. Of course, with everything that happened between her and the members of the Flash team, none of them were willing to help her, but they also knew that if anyone could help Barry remember,  it was Killer Frost.

While Killer Frost worked alongside Cisco and Julian, Cisco attempted to remind her of all of the memories they had working on the particle accelerator. It seemed to get through to Caitlin but Frost quickly took over again. When Barry finally got his memories back, with the precious help of Killer Frost, and when everyone was in the courtroom, Killer Frost tried to leave without even realizing it, but both Barry and Cisco couldn't let her out without even trying to bring Caitlin Snow's side to the top, but Killer Frost replied that she never liked them and left. However as soon as she got on the elevator, Caitlin took control for just a few seconds.

Killer Frost approached Savitar to ask what he was working on in his suit and he replied that his suit was damaged during his fight with Barry. Frost then asked if they were a team, referring to them both as "Barry and Caitlin". He looked up and replied that he wasn't Barry and she wasn't Caitlin. She then asked if Savitar was really going to kill Iris after all of the memories he shared with her. He asked if she is having second thoughts about their plan and she only shook her head, visibly scared.

After both kidnapped Cisco and forced him to help them, Cisco's girlfriend came to help him. Gypsy, leaps into the lair through another breach and Cisco pulls into another one. Killer Frost asks Savitar if he cared that they escaped and he replied that it didn't matter since the splicer was ready. The two arrived at the outskirts of a forest and began to use the splicer to make sure Savitar would live, but they are stopped by Jay Garrick.

- I've been waiting a long time to do that!

- Garrick! How did you ...

- He didn't! I did! - said Cisco.- By changing the polarity of the climbing ark, I change your speedforce splicer into a speedforce Skeleton key. Dind't think I was actually let you become a god now, did you?

- Let's end this! -Said Flash.

- Go! - yelled Killer Frost. While Savitar escaped, Killer Frost fought Cisco and Gypsy , but she was quickly thrown to the ground which gave Cisco the chance to kill her.

- Go ahead Cisco! Go bad! - said Killer Frost.

- No. I never will, but I will give you a choice. You want to be Caitlin again? Here's your chance.- said Cisco, giving Killer Frost a cure.

- Look out! - yelled Gypsy.

- You'll pay fow what you did! And you can die the same way twice! - said Savitar , grabbing Cisco by the neck. But before Savitar managed to do anything to hurt Cisco, Caitlin took control of her body and shot ice at Savitar.

- I knew you dind't have it in you, Caitlin.- said Savitar.

But before this situation got out of hand, Barry appeared and defeated Savitar. But it was Iris who won this war and ended up killing him. With Savitar dead and Killer Frost still with enormous control over Caitlin's body, she saw no choice but to leave. But neither Cisco nor Barry was willing to let her go.

- You don't have to leave. Come with us to STAR Labs.- Barry said, catching the attention of Killer Frost.

- Are you insane? She tried to kill us several times ... She attacked Harry and my father and you want her to come with us! exclaimed Iris.

- Listen to your bride, Flash! You will not want a villain like me on your side.

- But you do not need to be a villain .... You can come with us and help us in our missions.- said this time Cisco.

- You want me to come back because you want to have your dear Caitlin Snow again! But I'm in charge now!

- That's not it! You became a villain because you never had anyone who believed in you and who supported you. If you come with us, you will have it! You just need some love inside that icy heart of yours, to see that your life can be much better than it is right now. - said Barry, approaching Killer Frost.

- How do you know I won't hurt you? I have done it several times.

- I don't care if you hurt me or not. I just want Caitlin Snow back and I want to give Killer Frost a chance to see what it's like to have the love of a family. We needed you as much as you need us, even without knowing it, "said Barry.

- Are you sure this is what you want?

- Yes.- Barry and Cisco replied at the same time.

"No," replied Iris, then.

Killer Frost eventually gave in to Barry and Cisco's request and went back to STAR Labs with them. The early days were not the easiest, but the truth is that in time she became part of the STAR Labs family and finally managed to have what she never had, the love of a family!
