I arrived home, and placed the flowers in a vase, not sure how long they would live under here, when my roommate hinata came up to me. "Hey akaashi-san!" He yelled in his normal happy voice. He came up so quietly, I jumped slightly before turning around.
"Hello hinata. How have you been."
"LONELY!" He pretty much yelled. "You've barely spent any time with me for a week! And-" He cut himself off looking at the flowers behind me. "Where did you get those? I don recognize them."
"I... Umm..."
"Akaashi-san, please don't lie." He grabbed his arm. "Where have you been?" I sigh. I might as well tell him the truth.
"I met someone." His eyes lightened, and he swam around happily.
"AKAASHI-SAN!!! TELL ME ABOUT THEM!" He said, his smile as bright as the sun. We swam to the living room, and sat on the couch.
"Alright then. We met a couple days ago. They live on the surface, and so I was up, enjoying the sun as I sometimes do, and I heard a branch snap." I continued to tell him the story of how the two of us met. We admittedly, just talk about each others worlds, try to understand things. Our worlds are so different, its easy to forget we live on the same planet. But I enjoy our chats. I told him how he gave me flowers from the surface, but I have no clue how long they'll last under here.
"He sounds like an amazing guy!"
"He's definitely the most charming dragon I've met."
"Dragon? You mean, they're real?" He asked in amazement, his eyes sparkling.
"Umm... Yes. They are indeed real. He cant be in the water. His skin is really hot. It would hurt him. As obviously, we can't be on land, we'll dry out."
"But he seems like a lot of fun!" He said.
"He is... And yet, I cant help but feel like I've met him before."
"What are you talking about?"
"Whenever I'm near him, I constantly feel like I've met him before. I feel... Close to him if it makes sense. It's a weird feeling."
"Like me and tobio!" He said.
"Yeah I guess so."
"I wonder why that is."
"I'm not sure. But I'd like to know."
"Me too. But in the mean time, I'm happy with him." He said smiling softly.
"You two, are a very cute couple."
"Thank you akaashi-san."
We continued talking for hours until we went to bed. I can't wait to see bokuto-san tomorrow.
