BAKUGOU'S P.O.V.

That girl... She just disappeared into a warp gate? Why does that seem so familiar? Why did- Why the hell did she ask me about the damn train when she was just going to leave like that!

My body tenses up and I look out the window, trying to forget about that strange encounter.

And her smile. It was almost sadistic, but it was kinda cute. Why the hell did she smile like that.

"Oi, Bakugou, you okay?"

I look over and see Kirishima watching me as though I'm a lost child.

"Of course I'm fine!" I reply.

I put my hands in my pockets and look away from my friends. As I do, I realize I'm missing something. I begin searching the rest of my clothes, cursing under my breath as I look for my wallet.

That damn girl stole my wallet without me even noticing.

I can feel my friends staring at me, probably because I've started yelling a bit too loud. When I look over at them, I see them watching me as though I've completely lost it.

"What are you all looking at!"

"Calm down there, Bakugou, what's-" Sero says as he approaches me and puts his hand on my shoulder.

"Get off me!" I groan as I push him off.

Once again I look through my pockets in a last, meaningless effort to find what I'm looking for.

How did she do that, she never even touched me. Could it have been her quirk? But what about the warp gate?

"Some damn villain stole my wallet," I finally admit to them albeit so quiet that they may not have understood what I said.

Although that idea is quickly dissolved as I hear Ashido and Kirishima giggling to themselves.

"What was that? I couldn't hear you," Kaminari begins to provoke me.

"My wallet was stolen, dammit!" I finally yell out to them.

Immediately the group breaks out in laughter.

"Pfft, Bakugou how did you get your wallet stolen on a train!" Kaminari continues to anger me.

"Shut up Sparky! It's not fucking funny!"

Thankfully, Kirishima finally calms the group down and approaches me.

"Bakugou when you get home you should cancel your cards, okay? You don't know who those villains are or what they may try to do."

"I know that," I mumble as I look away.

Was somebody else with her or was she there alone? I didn't notice anyone besides her.

Just then Kaminari walks up to me again and wraps his arm around my neck.

"Don't worry about it buddy, tonight will be on me," he says while grinning like an idiot.

"Get off! There's no way I'll ever accept money from you. I never want to be in your debt again," I admit as I get progressively quieter.

Kaminari whines, but backs away from me.

"Anyway," I continue, "I have money at home. I'm not fucking broke you know."

"Awesome!" Ashido beams as if she's got no cares in the entire world.

I watch as she approaches me, but quickly her aura changes as she folds her arms and looks intimidatingly into my eyes.

"Remember. We're meeting at Refuge Bar at ten tonight. If you're not there I'll kill you."

"I already know the stupid plan," I groan as I meet her gaze, "you don't need to remind me."

Once again Ashido reverts back to her happy self, "That's great, I'm so glad we're all going!"

Then, Ashido begins to frown as she looks like she's about to cry.

"That is..." she says sadly, "All of us except Jirou."

As the rest of the group attempts to cheer Ashido up, the train halts where I need to get off.

While I exit, I hear my friends from behind me remind me once again that "we're meeting up at ten" and that I "better not be late". I quietly flip them off and even though I'm not looking back at them I can practically see them all sweatdropping and internally questioning if I'll actually pull through for later tonight.

I then begin my walk home and as I do, I can't help but think about the girl from the train again.

I'd kill her. I should blow her ass to bits for stealing my wallet.

Although, once again, I'm unfortunately stuck on thinking about that smile of hers.

I know she was a villain but she was still... I don't fucking know. I shouldn't be thinking of villains as anything more than what they are; criminals.

I shake my head, putting to rest those thoughts about the girl from the train. But just then, that purple and black warp gate pops into my mind.

It looked so familiar... it was weird. Like I've seen it before somewhere, but can't figure out where.

Just then I finally make it home. I put my key into the door and walk inside. I quickly search around for some spare cash to use for tonight to make sure I have something instead of having to rely on Kaminari.

I shudder at the thought. There's no way I'll ever be indebted to him again.

Finally, after finding what I was looking for, I make my way to my couch. I pull out my phone and think back to what Kirishima said.

"When you get home you should cancel your cards, okay? You don't know who those villains are or what they may try to do."

"What they may try to do," I mutter to myself, "What the hell even was the point of stealing my damn wallet. She was probably just some low-level thief looking for something with my name on it."

I nod to myself and dial the number to my bank.

Kirishima didn't see her... but it didn't seem like she actually knew who I was...

"Hello? I need to cancel my card, it was stolen."
