TOGA'S P.O.V. - FLASHBACK TO THE DAY OF THE ATTACK ON THE LIVE HERO MEETING

Before the hero meeting starts, Shigaraki, Kurogiri, and I stand backstage with Bakugou, waiting as the crowd coughs and begins whispering questions as to what is going on with the air in the building.

"By the way," Shigaraki whispers to me behind Bakugou, "when you get a chance I need you to get Yoruko away from Y/N."

"You mean like... now?" I ask, confused by the way he has phrased his order.

"Y/N is a danger to the League," he then starts to explain as he talks over Bakugou's head, "She's connected with these heroes now."

Shigaraki continues to go on and on as to why he's asking me to persuade Yoruko away from Y/N. However, I disagree with him. Yoruko trusts Y/N and I do as well.

I have no reason to distrust her. And besides, she would never dare provoke Shigaraki directly on purpose. I've seen the way she backs down around him.

"Anyway, I need Yoruko on our side for her quirk," he catches my attention with this comment, "She's more adaptable than Kurogiri. She needs to cut her ties with Y/N as soon as possible or we'll lose her to them. You couldn't want that, right?"

That asshole. I should never have told him how I felt about her.

"Y/N's quirk can be easily replaced and if you can't secure Yoruko I guess I'll just settle for what Kurogiri's quirk can provide."

Without waiting for a response from me, Shigaraki walks over to Kurogiri and waits for him to open his warp gate. I notice the saddened expression on Kurogiri's face before he turns into his warp form and allows Shigaraki through.

We all liked Y/N and I know it must hurt Kurogiri to hear that his little sister's quirk is better than his own, especially after everything he went through with it.

Soon, two heroes rush out onto the stage and steal my attention. I rush out to fight with them, deciding to question what I've just been tasked to do for later in the day.

Once all of the heroes have evacuated from the building, I begin fighting whatever random heroes I can find

Once all of the heroes have evacuated from the building, I begin fighting whatever random heroes I can find. However, Kurogiri appears before me as I'm running through the crowd and relocates me back inside.

"She's in here," Kurogiri tells me as he points to a door.

I sigh, still not knowing the best way to handle this situation without hurting Yoruko too much. I look down at the needle I had used to collect Bakugou's blood and, using my quirk, transform into him. I get a strange look from Kurogiri, but he brushes it off as he begins to update me on Yoruko's condition.

"I had to knock her out," he admits, "but she should be waking up soon. You can go in and wait if you want."

"Thanks," I grin as I wave and take a step towards the door.

Just as I walk through, I see Yoruko starting to sit up and stretch. Once she notices me, her face is hit with an extremely confused expression, almost screaming when she sees me as Bakugou before her.

"Bakugou! Is Y/N okay?" she asks frantically as she looks around the room.

I can't believe I have to do this...

I storm up to her angrily, as if I truly was Bakugou. "You damn villain! Stay the hell away from Y/N, you got that? I'd fucking kill you if I didn't respect Y/N as much as I do!"

Yoruko stares back at me with her big, turquoise eyes. Her brows then furrow in confusion.

"Look," I sigh, trying to make this a bit easier for her, knowing I took it a little too far, "if you stay away from Y/N, she won't have any reason to go back to the League. You've said it yourself that she would make a good hero so... help me give her that..."

I watch as a tear silently falls from Yoruko's face while she looks down at the floor. She slowly nods in agreement and it hurts for me to see her that way more than I can describe. It feels as though my heart is shattering into pieces for her.

"Okay. I won't bother her again..." Yoruko manages to whisper in the midst of her tears.

After hearing her say that, I can no longer stay in the room with her. I feel awful knowing what I did was so wrong. I don't know how I can even face Yoruko again.

However, later that evening I find myself standing before Yoruko again as I'm situated beside Shigaraki. I bend down to Yoruko, who's fallen asleep, and wipe the drying tears on her face.

"We need to relocate her," Shigaraki says as he watches me, "Can you pick her up and move her to the bar?"

"The bar?!" I say, thinking that's completely insensitive, "Why would we do that? I could just bring her back to my house."

"Fine. As long as you can move her I don't care where you bring her. Just make sure she's on our side."

I wrap my arms around Yoruko's limp body and pick her up. Walking over to Kurogiri, I ask him to open his gate to my street, which he agrees to after some well-understood hesitation.

After we arrive at my house, I bring Yoruko to my room. She doesn't wake up for some time so I decide to leave her in the room and sit out in my living room. I put on some of my favorite old Stain videos which keep me entertained for awhile.

"Toga?" I soon hear a groggy voice call from behind me, "Why am I here, uh, a-at your house?"

I shrug. "I didn't know where else to bring you," I admit.

With that, Yoruko doesn't say another word. She runs up to me and throws her arms around me. My body freezes in place from the contact. I don't deserve her embrace, not after what I did to her.

"Toga, I saw Bakugou before," she sniffles into my neck. She begins to explain what 'Bakugou' said to her before, admitting that "I didn't know how much I was holding Y/N right... he was so right."

"So... you're not going to see Y/N again?" I ask nervously.

Yoruko shakes her head. "No. Y/N is happy and deserves to be that way. I don't want to interfere with what she's got going for her," she smiles sadly.

"Okay," I sigh out of relief that Yoruko is taking the situation at least somewhat well.

"So, uh," Yoruko mumbles as she looks around my house, "I don't think I've ever been to your house before..."

"Well get used to it," I giggle, knowing she's going to get flustered, "because you're going to be staying here for a while."

"You mean it?!" she says as she stares at me with a blank face.

"Yeah," I shrug, "I wouldn't lie to you about that."

Once again, Yoruko stares at me with her bright, innocent eyes. I just can't help myself as I place my hands onto her cheeks and pull our faces closer together, her soft lips pressing against my own. When I pull back, Yoruko's eyes are widened and her body is tenser.

"T-Toga..."

I giggle as I tease her. "Yorukooo!"

 "Yorukooo!"
