"Okay, you're all cleared to leave," the woman behind the nurse's station smiles down at you. "I'll just have each of you sign one of our release forms..."

The woman hands a clipboard to you and Bakugou. You hear scribbling above your head as Bakugou signs his name in what you believe probably resembles chicken scratch.

After signing yours as well, you hand your paper back to the woman and thank her for all her help getting you out as soon as she could. You then grab onto the two wheels on either side of your new wheelchair and begin to wheel yourself away from the station. However, a harsh grip on your handles prevents you from getting too far.

"Where do you think you're going?" Bakugou asks monotonously from behind you.

"Out," you huff as you try to get the chair away from him.

"Sure, then I'll wheel you," he says almost politely even though you feel he's only doing it to provoke you.

Bakugou then wheels you out of the hospital without saying another word. Once you get close to the car and your silent pout is over, you finally speak to him again.

"I could do it myself, you know," you admit quietly.

"I know that, but you're not allowed to right now," he states.

"And why's that?"

"Because," he says as he stops the chair beside the car, "how am I going to take care of your stupid ass if you don't listen to what I say?"

Stunned and frozen without a response, you stare blankly at the ground, hoping that he can't see the flustered expression growing on your face. As he picks you up and places you into the car, you do your best to look away.

"No response, eh? Guess I'll take that as you realizing I'm right."

Asshole.

Back at your new home, Bakugou wheels you from the car to the front steps. From there, he effortlessly picks you up and carries you into the house where he places you in a chair in his kitchen.

He then gives you a quick kiss on the side of your head before saying that he'll be right back and leaving to collect the wheelchair from outside. When he comes back, you make sure to thank him for his help.

"Don't mention it," he shakes his head as he walks over to the refrigerator and opens it. "What do you want to eat? I bet you'd want to pick since you've been stuck with that shitty hospital food for so long."

"Hmm... How about spicy udon?"

"Noodles? That's what you want for your first meal back?"

You nod innocently, causing Bakugou to sigh and close the refrigerator door. Once he gives in and begins to make the meal, you watch in delight over observing him cook.

To your confusion, he seems almost excited to be cooking. You can't stop staring at the intense look on his face and wonder why he's getting so worked up over preparing food. However, the smile on your face from watching him soon fades as you sink back into what feels like a dark hole consuming your mind.

"Katsuki, I don't mean to change the conversation to anything bad but I've been thinking about something a lot while I was in the hospital..."

"Is everything alright?" he turns around to face you, "Are you worried about moving in here?"

"No," you look away, "I'm really grateful that you want me here actually."

"Then what is it?" he asks with his blank, confused expression.

"I can't stop thinking that maybe I won't make such a good hero like you," you admit shyly. "You did so well working with Yoruko that day with the ice villain but when we were together, I didn't assist you much."

"Didn't assist?" he shakes his head, "Y/N, you assisted all of those civilians around us. That's just as important as taking the villain down, if not more."

"Then maybe I should assist them in some other way that's not being a hero," your choke out as your eyes begin to get blurry with tears.

After wiping clear your eyes, you see Bakugou staring at you with an empty pan in his hand as he simply stands still.

"Are you going to stand there like that all day?" you ask as you look down at the heavy pan.

Bakugou places it down and walks over to you. He quickly throws you into a hug, tighter than how he usually does.

"I'm sorry, Y/N. I never meant to make you feel as though you can't fight for yourself. I know that you can and you're amazing."

"Katsuki, please don't say that," you assure him as you look up. "You've been a great help this whole time."

In fact, he's the whole reason I wanted to be a hero at all.

With a kiss to your forehead, he tells you, "You should do whatever your heart tells you to do. I'll be here for you no matter what you decide."

"Thank you," you sniffle with one more tight squeeze before letting him go.

Bakugou soon returns back to his cooking and before you know it, he slides a bowl of spicy udon in front of you.

"Looks delicious!" you beam as he sits beside you.

Quickly, you begin to devour the food as if you hadn't eaten at all the whole time you were in the hospital.

"Ah! Katsuki, what the hell?!" you look over at him with your face feeling as if it was literally on fire.

Bakugou looks over at you with an honest look of confusion as he can't tell what it is you're complaining about.

"It's so spicy!" you yell as you fan your face.

"You asked for spicy udon, Y/N," he shrugs before taking another bite of his food.

"Do you always cook like this?" you groan.

Bakugou shrugs and ponders over your question for a moment. "I think so," he finally answers.

"Then I can definitely get used to this," you grin, "it's so good!"

"Then I can definitely get used to this," you grin, "it's so good!"
