On Monday afternoon, instead of attending class, you walked with Sero and Kirishima back to the latter of the two's agency.

You sit in an awkward silence for a while, a bit nervous for their questioning to begin. Across from them you're sitting on a couch, creating the feel of an interrogation. However, you don't feel anything less than relaxed by their quiet company.

"Can I ask you something?" Kirishima finally begins and waits for you to nod, "How come you hate heroes so much?"

"Wow," you deadpan, "Was it really that obvious?"

"I noticed too," Sero nods, "Every time we hang out and someone mentions the word 'hero' you look... irked. Kinda like Bakugou when we talk about-"

"No, it's not too obvious," Kirishima interrupts, although you find yourself more interested in Sero's statement.

You sigh, "It's just that when I was sixteen I was involved in an incident where heroes neglected to save my grandparents, the only relatives I had left, and decided to stand by as the building was burned."

I had to be the one to go in. I needed to try to save them even if it was a lost cause.

You don't notice the two heroes' faces soften as tears cloud your vision. Only until Sero sits beside you and wraps his arm around you, are you finally aware of their empathy. You lay your head down on Sero's shoulder as you try to fight the unwelcomed tears in your eyes.

"As long as you're with us and the others, you'll be safe Y/N. You don't have to worry about something like that again," Kirishima assures you.

"What about everybody else?" you question as you look directly at him, "You can't ignore others for the people you know personally. You can't save who you want based on preference."

"Do you remember what I told you earlier this afternoon?" Kirishima asks, "I told you that each time we do all we can to save anybody we're able to, no matter what."

Sero shakes his head, "That hero you saw was no hero at all. No real hero would do that."

"Sero's right," Kirishima agrees, "Hero work is a tough job. It's meant for those of us who are able to run into the burning building, not just stand by and watch."

Hearing their words, you can't help but finally give in to what you've wanted to say all along, to whoever would listen and help.

"I know where Bakugou is."

"Bakugou?" Sero says with confusion in his voice, "What about him?"

"I haven't heard from him," Kirishima thinks aloud, "but I just assumed he was busy."

You shake your head, "No, the Leag- I tricked him and brought him to the League of Villains once I was able to gain his trust."

When you're done speaking, silence fills the air. Both Sero and Kirishima were thoroughly shocked at your statement that they almost didn't believe it.

"I'm sorry," you give in and begin to sob onto Sero's shoulder, "I wish I didn't do it."

The silence overwhelms you again. To you it's as though this is worse than silence, it's a lack of sound positive or negative meant to comfort or hurt you. You don't know how the heroes felt and you can't help but cry louder onto Sero.

"I'm so sorry," you say as you grab onto Sero, "I really didn't-"

"Is Bakugou alright?" Kirishima breaks the silence and immediately you stop moving.

"He..." you grab onto Sero's shirt tighter as you think about Bakugou's face the last couple of times you saw him, "I'm not sure, to be honest."

You sit up and look down towards your lap, watching as your tears silently fall onto your legs. The image of Bakugou's bruised and scratched face burning into the front of your mind.

"I don't really know what goes on when I'm not there. When I'm not around the others might be hurting him, but I don't really know the extent of it," you admit to the heroes.

I want to do something. I can't just sit here and wait until it's too late for him and all of the other heroes.

"Sero, Kirishima," you say as you look up, "I want to help him."

Again, the deafening silence takes over. It's hard to tell whether they're judging you or not, though it seems unlikely for their typical character.

"Are you comfortable with doing that?" Kirishima asks, "I don't know how he'll react when-"

"Do you think he can forgive me?" you interrupt, "Honestly."

The two share a look again before breaking out into slight laughter.

"Y/N, this is Bakugou we're talking about," Sero smiles down at you.

"He may seem all mean and angry," Kirishima continues, "but he'll forgive you. I don't doubt that at all."

"Maaaybe just don't ever use the word 'saved' around him, or he might take back his forgiveness," Sero chuckles.

"So you'll both help me?" you ask with more hope this time, "I'll save him as long as you're both in, too."

Sero and Kirishima both smile, "We're definitely in!"

"Is there anything you can tell us about the League's plan?" Sero questions.

"They're going to interrupt the live hero meeting next week," you explain, "I don't really know much besides from what my part is, but it seems as though Bakugou's going to make some kind of scene on Shigaraki's behalf."

You continue to explain to the heroes about your part of the plan where you're to fill the building with some flammable gas Shigaraki's been working on for Bakugou to ignite. While you do, you can see the clear look of worry on both heroes' expressions.

Kirishima, however, is the first to put on a brave face.

"The three of us will think of something!" he beams, "We'll figure it out together, don't worry!"

"Agreed," Sero joins in, "let's figure this out!"

"Agreed," Sero joins in, "let's figure this out!"
