𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒚 𝑺𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏

While out on your first day of patrol with Bakugou, the two of you walk through the streets.

Man, there's not too much going on here right now, but at least I'm getting some time alone outside with him. The two of us are almost never in public together.

Walking through the town, you notice quiet whispers and stares as you pass civilians.

"Hey, Katsuki," you whisper as you look over at the man who's seemingly oblivious to the gossip.

"Don't worry about it," he hums back to you. "The damn extras' gossip doesn't mean shit."

"Eh? What is the gossip anyway?" you nosily ask.

"Seriously?" he sighs before shaking his head and giving in. "Well, I guess you probably should know. Apparently, I have a 'mystery girlfriend' who everyone and their damn grandmothers are so concerned about."

Grandmothers?

"Really? They know about-"

"Just don't pay attention to it. If you give them an inch they'll run a mile with this crap."

"Sure," you nod.

Just then, the building and street lights flicker quickly and turn off. The two of you glance around for some hint of what's going on.

"Think it's a villain?" you whisper to your partner.

"Yeah, let's kill it," he responds as he continues to analyze the scene.

You watch as the pedestrians freeze up in fear as they stand confused by the situation. You hear a group of girls call out for Bakugou to help them but you only laugh to yourself as he sends an explosion their way.

"Y/N. On the lamp post."

Whisking your body around to the only source of light behind you, a man stands before you on top of a flickering lamp post.

"Y/N," he coos, "I never thought I'd see you again."

You squint your eyes, trying to get a better look at the villain. However, it's difficult for you to make out his face.

"How come you're with this hero?" he asks as he effortlessly jumps down from the post and makes his way towards you.

"Who the hell are you?" Bakugou interrupts.

"Energy Blade," he smirks. "I'm sorry. I thought you knew my name."

"Why would I remember an extra like you?" he continues to provoke the villain.

You place your hand on Bakugou's shoulder and take a step closer to the villain, attempting to ease the growing tension between them.

"How do you know me?" you ask as you slowly take in his face while in the dark.

"Isn't that clear already?" The villain smirks, "Shigaraki, who strangely isn't around anymore. Would you know anything about that?"

"No," you snap at him, "since clearly I'm not a villain anymore."

"Interesting," he takes another step forward, "because I thought I heard something about pro hero Bakugou's mystery girlfriend getting herself into trouble with some villains recently. That was you, no?"

"Go fuck off," you yell, irritated by his questioning.

"Tsk, I'm not going to just walk away that easily," the villain grins as he sets himself up in a fighting stance.

Bakugou jumps directly in front of you, blocking Energy Blade from getting to you. "You're going to regret that decision, idiot," he yells out.

He then lunges towards the villain, throwing an explosion right at him. You roll your eyes as you see the two of them engage in combat.

How am I ever going to get the chance to be a hero if he always has to jump in and save me...

Not wanting to be completely useless, you run over to civilians who are nearby the scene. You escort them to evacuating the area as best they can.

Turning around, you see two teenage boys holding out their phones and recording the fight. You jog over to them and remind them that this is a serious situation.

"Oh yeah?" says one with a giant grin on his face. "And are you the Pro Hero's mystery girlfriend?"

The other one laughs as he holds his phone up to your face. You gently lower it with your hand as you admit "it's not like it's a big secret or anything, but yes. Now can you both please evacuate this area?!"

Both of the boys' faces light up and they high five. The one with the giant grin thanks you before giggling and running away.

"What a couple of weirdos," you whisper to yourself.

However, you let it go as you see more citizens still not evacuating. It is somewhat comforting to you, knowing that you're saving them from potential injury and harm but what you really longed for was to get in the fight.

Once you're done getting the citizens out of the area, you rush to Bakugou's side. As you approach him you swipe away a huge cloud of smoke. On the other side, you see the villain knocked out cold.

"You killed him?!" you yell to your companion. "Isn't that, like, the one thing you're not supposed to do?"

"Relax, idiot. I didn't kill him. He's just unconscious. Anyway, what the hell took you so long evacuating the area?"

"People can be idiots," you mutter as you grab the villain's hands and handcuff them together by the wrist. "What took you so long finishing him, hm?"

Bakugou rolls his eyes. "This guy didn't know when to fucking quit," he groans as he bends down beside the villain.

"Yeah, sure," you tease as you kneel next to him. "What do we do with him now?"

"Look for some ID."

With that, the two of you check for some identification of the villain before picking him up and lugging him over to the nearest police station. When he wakes up, he has no recollection of the fight.
