BAKUGOU'S P.O.V.
I open my eyes the next morning to light pouring in from a nearby window only to realize my arms are being held together as I become aware of my surroundings.
What the hell?!
I finally realize that I'm being tied down to a chair. I begin to twist and shift myself around in a failed attempt to get loose.
When I look up I recognize the vicinity. It seems to be an updated version of that old bar the League of Villains used to gather at before it was destroyed.
"All right, Y/N, I think he's set," I hear a familiar, deep voice call out.
I attempt to look behind me as I feel a heavy weight latch onto my wrists. I try to set off my quirk, but instead, nothing happens. I assume they've put me in quirk canceling cuffs.
"Don't struggle," a soft voice whispers to me as a hand gently touches my forearm.
I can only assume it's Y/N and even though I wish I could explode her head off, seeing as I can no longer trust her anymore, for some reason I listen to her and stop moving around.
"I'm sorry," she finishes just as she stands up.
I follow Y/N with my eyes as her back comes to my vision while she walks towards Shigaraki and Kurogiri.
"You bitch!" I finally snap and begin yelling at her, "You fucking tricked me!"
As I continue yelling, Y/N doesn't snap back with her usual sharp responses. Instead, she looks at the floor.
"Y/N, this hero's too talkative. Shut him up for now, I'll have to wait to allow him to speak."
I then begin to shout at Shigaraki, "I'll kill you! Don't get in my damn way again you asshole! I'll fucking win no matter what I have to do."
"Is that so?" Shigaraki laughs as Y/N begins walking toward me again.
I watch as she kneels before me, this time accompanied by a roll of duct tape. She begins to unwind a huge piece and looks over at me. Only now can I get a good look at her face. It seems as though she's struggling to stay calm around Shigaraki.
Maybe what she told me yesterday wasn't completely a lie. Could they be using her?
However, my mood changes at the sound of the tape ripping.
"You're just like the rest of the damn villains, you know that? There's nothing special about you so don't act like you aren't on their side!" I snap.
Y/N's aura then turns dark. She forcefully slaps the tape over my mouth.
"Shut up," she growls as she makes sure the tape has stuck, "you don't even know me."
"You could have gone to any of the others. I don't even know you." That's what I said last night to her.
I can tell as she stands up that there's hurt in her eyes as she recalls what I've said last night as well. Then, before I've got time to process anything else, she slides her hand in my hair and forcibly tilts my head back.
"If you want to stay alive, you'd better keep me as an ally, hero."
She then lets go apathetically as my face falls forward. I watch as she then walks over to her navy-haired friend who holds her hand and whispers something to her, probably trying to calm her down. Only then does Y/N's face soften again. At the same time, Shigaraki approaches me.
"Why the hell you always looking at her? She sure as hell isn't going to help you. Her job is over and she doesn't need to pretend to be your friend anymore so forget about it," he whispers.
"Very well done, Y/N," he then says to her as he begins walking around me, "You had a very convincing performance last night."
I try to shout and make any sound of noise, but it's all muffled by the tape over my mouth.
"Uh, I..."
Looking over at Y/N, she looks like a deer in the headlights. Perhaps she didn't know that the other villains knew she was around my friends and I.
"Thank you," she finally says sweetly just like all those times in the past she would speak to me when she was lying.
"So," Shigraki then turns his attention fully to me, "feel like telling me where the hero conference is being held? I've got some important business to attend to there."
I give him an angered expression as I once more attempt to shout through the tape.
"That's fine," he then sighs, "I've got time to wait."
Shigaraki walks away, out of the room, and I'm left with the other villains who basically ignore me. I notice Y/N and her friend talking to that other warp villain, Kurogiri, who seems to be scolding them.
"If you ask me, I think you're both pretty stupid for getting yourselves into that situation," he sighs.
I begin to tune him out as Y/N just walks away from the conversation, not caring about what's being said to her. Instead, she just walks right towards the front door.
"I've got class," she says expressionlessly, "I'll see you back at home, Yoruko."
Once Y/N is gone, Yoruko practically stomps over to me.
"Hey idiot," she says as she stares down with darkened eyes.
I narrow my eyes, not trusting her any more or less than I do Y/N and the other villains. To my surprise, she then leans down to my level, her face right in front of mine leaving me shocked.
"Y/N feels bad for what she had to do to get you here, so don't be too hard on her," she says seriously, "but don't get the wrong idea. She doesn't regret helping the League and neither do I. We're villains, not heroes. It's just how we are, don't forget."
Yoruko then stands up and walks out, leaving me with the rest of the villains of my past.
