"Holy shit, you won the whole thing!" Denki exclaims as Bakugou collects all thirty chips for himself.

"Wow Bakugou, what a lucky hand!" Yoruko exclaims.

Everybody then adds a chip to the pot as Mina says it's a rule. Kaminari and Sero take their own turns, not winning any more than six chips in all. Now that everybody has gone, the rest of the group reveals their cards.

Yoruko sets down her cards, showing that she had the ace of spades, "I was really hoping I could use this," she sighs, "but maybe next time."

"You get too into betting," you tease as you slide your cards to the middle of the table.

"Just trying to win this time since I lost to our last bet, remember."

Kaminari laughs, "That reminds me of this time Bakugou lost to me, and all week he had to go around saying he was the worst hero ever!"

You can't help but join in laughter with the rest of the group until your eyes catch with Bakugou's burning a hole into your body, causing you to shut up immediately. Following that, he stands up and scoffs before leaving the room.

"How come he gets so worked up about stuff like that?" Yoruko asks the group as you watch the door Bakugou's left from, wondering the same thing for yourself.

"He's super serious about being the number one hero," Kaminari informs the two of you.

"Why?" you ask aloud, although not consciously realizing you did until all the eyes in the room were on you, "Uh, I mean-"

"Poor Y/N," Yoruko sighs as she wraps her arm around you, covering for you with another lie, "Just a quirkless girl who can't understand heroes with a good quirk."

Right. I told Mina and Jirou that I'm quirkless.

"Yoruko, you're so weird!" you exclaim as you push her off of you, "Don't say it like that!"

As you break free from Yoruko you notice that Kirishima, Sero, and Kaminari look confused by the current conversation. In an attempt to break free from the awkwardness, you stand up and excuse yourself to the bathroom.

Wandering around Bakugou's house, you end up in a spare bedroom that looks like it hasn't been used in a while.

He probably doesn't even let anyone stay over if they asked. He's so cold to everyone, even his friends.

You eventually end up in the kitchen where, to your luck, you find Bakugou standing.

"Sorry," you say quietly as you turn to leave the room, however, you stop as you hear him speak to you.

"What do you want, villain?"

"Excuse me?" you respond as you turn back to face him.

Bakugou doesn't grant you a response for a while, rather he just stares at you from across the room.

"You looking for more things to steal from me?" he finally asks.

"No, you have nothing I'd want anyway, hero. I was just looking for the bathroom."

Bakugou makes his way towards you, aura darkening, making you take a few steps back from uneasiness. Once he reaches you, he only grants you a slightly angered look before walking past.

"Down the hall, second door on the right," he continues walking away, not bothering to check if you heard him correctly.

You let out a quiet, "thanks" which you could tell he heard from a slight shaking of his head before following his directions.
