lauren's POV:
I got up from my bed and woke the rest of my sisters up and then we went to the extra room and got dressed. Then we went to the car and drove to the station. I sat down at my desk and was doing paper work when, "lauren can you come in here please." The chief said peeking his head out of his office door.
I got up and walked into the chiefs office with my sisters staring at me. "Yes sir." I said standing in front of his desk with this one girl beside me which I think is a transfer.
"Well we got a transfer so meet Kim Burgess from the Chicago district and she's going to be you're new partner." He told me.
"Then what's gonna happen to Dani?" I asked.
"Since Max does not have a partner then Dani will be his partner." The chief said.
"Okay, hi i'm lauren." I said turning towards her and shaking her hand.
"Hi i'm Kim." She said shaking my hand.
"Okay, so go patrol." He told us so we walked out.
I stopped at my desk and grabbed my gun from the drawer. The chief came out, "Dani you're new partner is Max." The chief called out.
I walked to Max and grabbed his arm before he walked out with Dani. "Keep her safe and I mean it." I told him.
"Okay, I will." He replied.
"Come on Burgess." I told her when I walked away from Max and to the front of the police station.
I got in with her getting in on the passenger side. "First things first we'll patrol around for a bit then we will go walk around to see if we see anything." I told her pulling out of the parking lot and driving around a bit.
"Okay lets get something to eat." I said pulling over to a small restaurant on the side of the rode. "Okay, I can use something to eat." She told me getting out.
"So what was it like in Chicago?" I asked her.
"It was pretty good but i'm tired of the snow, but then I got transferred here and it was a miracle." She said while laughing.
"Yeah, I can't stand that much of the snow." I told her while smiling and laughing.
Our food came because we already ordered like 10 minutes ago.
"So was your dad like a police officer and that's why your own to." She asked me.
I put my head down, "I was adopted and my new dad he was not a police officer and plus i'm 16 and they recruited me because I helped them take down these bad guys who took my whole high school as hostages a year ago and then I saved them." I told her.
"Wow I would have guessed you were like 20 or so because of your height." She told me amazed.
"Nope 16." I replied.
"Wow, that's amazing." She said smiling at me.
"Thanks." I smiled back.
--After a while--
"So we should get going." I told her getting up and putting down a $20 on the counter for the waitress.
"Hey I can pay for my own you don't have to." She told me.
"No it's totally fine." I replied.
"Keep the change." I told the waitress coming to get the money.
"Let's go." She said walking out.
I followed her out, and we were walking down the sidewalk when this guy ran by on the other side and took a womans purse and running off. "Hey sir stop now!" I shouted.
"Come on.'' I told Burgess running off towards the guy.
I was chasing him until Burgess pulled up with the car and blocked him. "Perfect timing." I told her.
"Thanks." She replied.
I put the guy in the back and then we drove to the station and while Burgess booked him because she volunteered. I walked to my desk and filled out a paper that I found on my desk.
"Burgess come here were going back out patrolling." I told her walking out to the police car.
"Okay were we going?" She asked me getting in the passengers seat.
"Patrolling." I answered getting in and driving down the road.
"Oh k." She replied.
I was driving and then she suggested we get back out since it's getting dark. So we got out and were walking down the sidewalk when we past a alley we heard a couple guys so we walked down the alley a little bit then we saw some guys beating up another guy.
"Hey stop." Burgess shouted.
One guy threw a punch she grabbed his hand and elbowed him in the spot. He fell down then the other guy which was tougher then both of us combined came at me with a punch and I blocked it and hit him in the face with my elbow.
Burgess was trying to help, "It's fine I got this." I told her kicking the guy in the face he fell back but then tripped me and kept punching me in the stomach then I kicked him in the stomach. I got up but he got up and popped me in the face pretty hard. I fell back then grabbed my taser and tased him. He fell back and then Burgess cuffed him and put him the back of the car. But I still was in a lot of pain, "Come on i'll help you up." She said grabbing my arm and helping me to the car.
"Here drive." I told her passing her the keys.
She got in the driver seat and we drove to the station. Burgess took care of the guy who beat the crap out of me. I got out after a while and went inside and sat at my desk then my sisters came in and sat down. I had a black eye so I tried to hide it from them. When it was time for our shift to be over with I got in the van and we drove home and then I went to the other Lauren's, Dani's and my room. I layed down then the other Lauren and Dani came in.
"Hey lauren is there something wrong?" They asked getting in there beds.
"My stomach hurts because I got punched in the stomach and in the face by a guy that I arrested." I answered.
"Oh, are you okay?" They asked.
"Yeah I just want some sleep so good night." I told them closing my eyes.
"Night." The other Lauren said, while laying down.
"Night." Dani said also laying down.
"Night." I told them two before I fell asleep.
