Matty's POV:
I'm getting ready to take lauren out so I can ask her to be my girlfriend. I called her and told her to get ready, and i'm almost done.
--her house--
I walked to the front door and knocked. Lisa opened the door, "She's upstairs." She told me.
I walked upstairs and knocked on her door, "Come in." She called. I walked in and saw her on her laptop, ''You ready?" I asked.
"Yeah." She said getting up and grabbing her inhaler then putting it in her pocket.
We walked downstairs and out the door. "So were are you taking me?" She asked.
"We'll we are going to have a picnic in the park." I told her.
"You know Matty, it's better having you here even though i'm older I don't care." She said.
"I'm glad i'm here to." I told her then we got to the park.
We sat down on the blanket that her sisters put down. "I brought sand witches, strawberries, and dr. pepper because your sisters told me you like dr. pepper." I said pulling everything out of the basket.
"They are correct I love dr. pepper." She said grabbing a dr. pepper and a sandwich. We started eating, after we finished we were talking.
"lauren, will you be my girlfriend again?" I asked her out of the blue.
"Yes, yes, yes." She told me jumping into my arms.
"Okay." I said happily and satisfied.
"So what now?" She asked.
"Well we could go to the beach and watch the sunset before we have to go home to go home since we have school tomorrow." I suggested.
"I would love to watch the sunset for my first time." She said, so we left and walked to the beach.
"Just in time." I said putting down a blanket then we both sat down side by side.
"So lauren, what's it like being in high school?" I asked.
"It's harder, and everybody think that i'm the toughest kid in 9th grade because I stood up to the 9th grade bully." She said laughing and smiling.
"Wow I didn't know my that." I told her.
"Yup the kid was about to beat up this one kid but I stopped him and shoved his head against a table." She replied.
"Hmm, I didn't know you could do that." I told her.
"When I saw him slam the kid against the wall it sprung something inside me." She replied.
"That tells me not to get on your bad side." I said smiling.
"Well if you annoy me bad enough then it might spring something." She told me.
"Okay, okay." I said putting my hands up in surrender.
"Your cute." She said.
"I tend to be." I replied.
She punched me in the arm, "Hey." I said in a hurt expression.
"You deserve it." She told me.
After a while of just messing around we walked home hand in hand. When we got to her house I kissed her cheek and started walking to my house. I got inside then went to my room and went to sleep.
